Blaming bootlegs or streaming for failings as a playing musician seems to be a bit misplaced IMO. There are plenty of bands making it work, admittedly making far more from touring than from CD sales... things evolve and change.

Good stuff! Album out April 2024.

Won't be everyone's cup of tea, as there are both harsh and clean vocals, but IMO this is stellar material.

I feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened... there is a late-year monumental shift in Dan's Top 5 for 2023. A new contender has entered the fray.

Excuse you? It seems like the only reason you're here on the forum is to perpetually shit on ADV. You don't like him, fine. He's overutilized, we get it. Heck, I don't particularly care for his cookie-cutter pain-by-numbers approach, but it is what it is. Now, when you turn the corner and start namecalling with longtime members, that crosses the line. Lighten up or take a hike.

This album was wacky, but enjoyable. It won't make my top 5 list, but it was a pleasant surprise. Apparently the band has been around for like 15 years. Some of the songs are bizarre blends of pop, punk, and metal, but infectious. This track is likely my favorite from the album.

Better than most female Japanimetal efforts. I do love that steampunk guitar.

This might be too light/poppy for many here, but I dig it. Very different for this label though... no screamo.

I've been listening to this album. Definitely right up HH's alley, stylewise. Interesting label choice though... as much as I love me some Napalm Records, this does NOT fit with their other artists stylistically at all. I'd love to know the back story on how they ended up there and not with one of the usual suspects (even AFM Records would be a closer fit IMO).

I am firmly convinced that the vast majority of YT comments to major artist videos are bot comments. It's been going on for a while now. Lots of non-English comments dominating, and they're always positive and gushing, yet non-specific. Now for my take: a heaping pile of unlistenable dogshit. It's putrid.
