  1. I kinda dig this. Somewhat generic, but decently executed IMO.
  2. Me likey very much. New album out in 2024.
  3. Heh. The band name sounded like a death metal name, and I was like Dafuq? It shows potential. Reminds me of a heavier Red Hot Chili Peppers in places.
  4. AI-generated video, kinda cool. New album out May 10 on Napalm Records.
  5. Is there any audio or video samples from this anywhere? I'm not seeing anything on Youtube. I'll probably get the blu-ray, but I want to hear/see clips first before plopping down US$40+.
  6. Which Amazon site are you ordering from, Amazon UK I assume? It's been a while, but Amazon US hasn't historically had issues supplying Frontiers releases, but I have no idea about timing with respect to release date, as that's never been a concern for me: I'll make due with digital/spotify until the physical version shows up. Then again, if Amazon UK is stocking at lower quantity than Amazon US, it's possible that it's a prioritization issue on Frontiers' end... dunno.
  7. Not sure if this means there's a new album on the horizon.
  8. Yeah, the verse vocals are the weak point of the song. I like the overall feel though. Covers are a DANGEROUS thing IMO... if it's too close to the original it's just imitation, but if it's too different, you're disrespecting the original. Can't win.
  9. Guys, they're saying they made some changes a few hours ago. Those impacted, can you tell me if you are still getting these CAPTCHA notices now?
  10. Update: This is system-wide on the cloud hosting, not just the HH board. It appears to be related to changes in AWS (Amazon Web Services) security, which is where the board resides. Other board owners are complaining about this issue that just popped up in the last few days. It's nothing that I can change or remove. I'll update once there's more information from the board software devs.
  11. Interesting. I wonder if it's IP-related. Let me see if I can change the board settings.
  12. Yeah, this is actually from their 2022 album, which I still play every now and then. P.S. auslander reinforcing why the board seemingly wants to block Aussies. They have no taste.
  13. I just logged out, logged in a test account, replied to this post, and nowhere was I prompted with any CAPTCHA or other anti-bot functionality. Is anyone else seeing this behavior, or is this just the civilized world's way of keeping Aussies at arm's length?
  14. Placeholder thread as the video premieres in about 12 hours. No fucking clue what it will sound like, but I'm looking forward to it.
  15. I know not everyone digs Lord of the Lost, but I have really enjoyed their last few albums.
  16. '80s thrash with better production. Once upon a time it would have been my thing...
  17. Bringing this back up as they are running a sale on refurb units (like the one I bought) but $200 lower than what I paid.... bastards! $795 right now: https://www.elm-usa.com/collections/product-range/products/copy-of-eco-pro2-factory-refurbished-demo I used the machine quite a lot over last summer and fall, and I'm completely sold on the unit for CDs and DVDs, not so much on blu-rays as the latter leave a dried residue that has to be manually wiped off. However, blu-rays have a more scratch-resistant surface to begin with so are less likely to be in need of repairing. Usually it's fingerprints, which a simple microfiber cloth can fix.
  18. Someone reached out to me via email asking for assistance in identifying this song. From the comments, it appears that the "lostwave" community is pretty sizeable given the number of views and comments this video has received in just a month... pretty fucking amazing actually.
  19. Interesting take... the original is an alltime great song.
  20. I have no idea what the fuck I just watched, but I love it! Reminds of Eskimo Callboy without the screamo.
