Anybody else get the email today? Due to border issues Cauterize will not be playing any of their scheduled U.S. Dates on the Warp Tour. Fuck, fucking figures, what kind of border issues could they have? that's the ticket to get noticed in the U.S., if I was the bands manager, Id have them down sneaking acrossed the Mexico border so quick, they wouldnt even know what hit them, this is why they don't get recoginized.

Don't know! saw them in the same catalouge I saw that band Chime, actually I found out about 90% of the cd's I have thru a Metal Disc catalouge, every year they would print a cataloge of the years releases from around the world, this was back before the internet, but I could pretty much just order blindely out of it, and always score, but as far as Tusk go, I think they have 2 cd's out, the other disc is called Requiem for Ecstasy, ive never heard it, I believe they are from Germany, good shit though, they remind me a lot of Gravestone type metal, that dark doomy good metal, it came out in 1998, on Long Island Records, it's not all that rare of a disc, well it is because nobodys heard of them, but I mean the discs are out their, Im thinking about checking out that other disc, Ive heard it's not as good as the one I have though, so im not really sure if I want to, but I more then likely will.

Has anybody heard the group Tusk? I have a cd called Tales From A Haunted Book, and aside from low budget production, these fuckers rock, you should check'em out, those of you who get into Metal like Gravestone, Breaker, etc... im really interested to know what these guys would sound like with a high budget production job. I bet it would be something else!

Well, has anbody heard the Poco album Lecacy? well it's not hard to hear it's the same David Cole, just absolute walls of harmony, and vocals, my buddy I was working with brought up Martikas second album as one of the greatest produced albums of any genre, now Ive never heard it, but it was produced by David Cole, so if in fact this guy is working from beyond the grave, well, id say that's worth some recognistion, wouldnt you?

Yes it is the same Man...He was also a Songwriter and Musician....He did a lot of Producing too... Did you know him? that's very weird, finding out he was 1 half of C+C Music Factory, I guess I never thought they were anything but a 90's dance one hit wonder group, No clue it was just a big studio project, that explains greatly his crossover work on rock albums, producing dance tracks is some of the most tedious production work I know, and you wouldnt really think it was, constantly manipulating the tracks and tracks of vocals makes perfect scents now, Poco, Blue Tears, Richard Marx, all layered smoothering tracks into one, even more so I believe then Hysteria, Cole was producing vocals for rock albums, how you would produce them if they were dance, he was producing them the only way he knew how, that's a fucking trip, to think Mutt took how long to do Hysteria? Cole did Blue Tears in 4 months, I think we need to start paying tribute to this awesome standout producer, at least recognizing him, I wish I could find more info about the work he did, tragedy he died so young, what an odd thing to die from these days, this dude was good, and all you have to do is listen to Blue Tears to hear just how good, RIP

Many of you know Blue Tears onslaught of production was done by David Cole, right! well does anybody have any clue who he is? I mean a production job like that doesnt just happen, I was poking around and discovered the only David Cole I could find, he died in 1994 and was C + C Music Factory, the reason I believe this is him, is because Poco did that album in 1989, Legacy, the one with the song Call It Love, now this album was produced by Cole, if youve heard it, it is so over produced it's almost nausiating, I mean I love it, (and it's an album ive never seen mentioned on here) but I also discovered he was inkahootz on Richard Marx albums, so am I on to the right guy? does anybody know? is this the tall african american man that died from spinal menangitis in 1994? im beyond interested, please help?

I think old Arthur needs to look at the big picture, Vick isnt a hall of fame QB anyway, people still have this old mind frame about Vick, he's going to rewrite football as we know it, he's the best thing to ever happen to the NFL, well how many years has he been in the NFL now? gotta be around 5, for a guy that was thrown into the starting lineup right off the bat, he's sure proved alot to me, the year Tampa Bay played them in the playoffs, I to this day remember Chris Berman saying "as good as that tampa defense is, I don't know if the 85 bears defense could stop this machine" the bucs (lead by mr.John Lynch) went out and not only shut Vick down, but he was so rattled I think they pulled him by the starting of the 4th qrt, he's selfish, stupid(can't remember the playbook) one dimensional, inacurate as a passer, and the biggest of all, he has no heart, he insists on being "the man" and running it 50 carries a game, then when everything goes to shit, he always turns around and talks shit on his Line, or the defense, he's a scumbag peice of shit, and if the Falcons owner was that bright of a guy, he would have shipped Vick off and kept Matt Schaub.

I read an excelent book called The God Part Of The Brain, it's almost 15 years of scientific research done on why people believe in god, and the fact humans are the only species in exsistence that is aware of it's own mortality, very very thought provoking and educational, I couldnt put it down, but I get into books of that sort.

You forgot the LOL after your post, right? if not your out of your fucking head, Cauterize has more talent in their left nut then most bands have in their dreams, I didnt listen to the samples, because I wanted this new cd to be a suprise, and hearing the samples would just piss me off, so I hope this isnt a good indication of how the new album sounds??? To each their own right? Yes I was joking around with my comments but I really do not care for this band as they are too modern sounding for my tastes but that doesn't make them a bad band, just not one that interests me.... You need to take it one step further, and hear how much more complete and disciplined of a modern sound they have, sure they make music that sounds like modern music, but your not going to find anything even remotley close to the sound, melody, and song writing Cauterize perform, on any corporate brown suite big label modern band, these guys have some serious talent and some serious linkage to Melodic Rock!! that's what sold me on them, I fucking dispise modern sounding shit also, with my heart and ass, because modern rock sounds like that, Ass! Well my tastes are in a constant state of flux but right now there are very very few modern sounding bands that I listen to....but the other day I happened across a Nickleback video ...I forget the song...that sounded pretty good so anything is possible in the future..... Id really have to change as a person to ever like a Nickleback song, but stranger shit has happend, like when out of no where I woke up one morning, and had to buy a Hall and Oats disc, I was fucking mindblown!!
