  1. I think so. I heard Metallica are doing the same ( but I am not into Metallica , they bore me). The new song and video are very good and so drammatic. After buying and hearing "This house is nit for sale" I must admit that I still love this band.
  2. I love the first two singles, but I don't like the rest of the album. The production sometimes sound strange to me. I don't like the ballads, scars on my guitar is boring, come on up to our house is predicteble, and labor of love......... This sound like Chris Isak hit (wicked game) the video is similar too.
  3. They remind me wig wam. Cool there are 3 singers. The new single is my favorite ( stand toghether). Not very orignal but I like it.
  4. Ehm, this is "ready and willing" from Whitesnake, with different words.
  5. I agree . Epic cbs refused an album in 1990 (le baron boys) to Europe. Maybe this was a part of that sessions like wild child and I don't know how to love .....
  6. Not as good as Coup the grace, anyway good enough to be in the top 3 album of the year. My favs are Inferno and alien earthlings, I've listened on you tube, I'm gonna buy it at Frontiers fest.
  7. I've never been a fan of d.s.s., the debut don't do much for me. But I love the new song and the whoa.
  8. What ever happend to the band I used to love in the late 90s? Now there is only Mulli as original member. They were one of the best new hard aor band. The single is not bad, but I don't think I 'm gonna buy the album.
  9. I agree with Zack and tt the debut was good with epic melodic hard rock songs very catchy.
  10. I like this cd. I saw this band at Frontiers Fest, a good show. The singer is very sexy. Everybody wants a picture with her, after the show. She was kind, I have my pic with her, cool. The drummer now plays in "Reach" another young swedish band.
  11. Adrenalin Rush, S/T Snakes in paradise yesterday and today Europe war of kings Wig Wam- wall street
  12. Lynch Mob, Europe and Ten in your top 15?!! You're a generous man You should send your list to each of those artists so they know at least one person on earth thinks they are not all terrible. Not having a go, mate, but it's a very curious list. Very different to everyone else's. Just wondering if you could tell me the reasons why you think Ten is better than Find Me? Or why Lynch Mob and Europe are better than Eclipse and Santa Cruz? It's completely your opinion and it's up to you, but I would just love to see an explanation for that. Interesting thread mate. Everything is questionable in a top list. In a car race there is a winner and a second best, but in a personal list, It's just a matter of taste. Often I agree with people on this site, you listen to lots o music and you are great conoisseurs of melodic hard rock (more than me). About Europe, I hoped for a come back to "The final countdown era" I was dissapointed when I first spin "War of kings". After a few spins , I appreciated it. It's not melodic hard rock ,Aor It's more classic hard rock a little bit dark . I understand if you don't like it, because my first impression was bad. About Ten , It's clear that you don't like them , I saw your favorites of 1997 ,and 1996 and they aren't listed, (as I remember), lots of people think they made 3 masterpieces those years. About Lynch mob , I think that "rebel" is a good hard rock blues album. I like everytyhing from George and Oni Logan toghether. I will send my list to Joey Tempest and George Lynch, but I think they are too much rich and famous to care about it I really like that you put Issa at the first place in your chart. She's a cool rock and roll girl and I enjoied her show at the Frontiers fest, But I'm sure that many people would find weird your choice. Take a look at the album poll of this site , Many people like it, (also members of an Italian aor band who get lots of credit in every poll this year). http://www.rockreport.be/albumpoll.asp?year=2015 http://www.rockreport.be/home.asp Cheers mate.

  14. I only own Van halen 2 and Lovehunter. I know it's a shame I should care more about the past, I think that Foreigner,Raibow and Sorpions should be good. 1-Van Halen II 2-Whitesnake- Lovehunter
  15. I started listen hard rock and aor around 85 -86, my first album was Heart sefl titled ( i played that record around 80 /90 times). 16. Nice list, mate. Kinda harsh on Rage 'causeafter BIM they produced more killer albums in a grandiose repertoire. I've seen them 6 times, last when celebrating 20 years since the release of this album. Perhaps, you should post your 85 list, since we caught the decades then. I saw Rage , just one time. I stopped follow them ,since few years. Ok let's post the 85 list.
  17. This was released in 1996, and I'm not even gonna mention that it should be much higher than 82. You are right , G is the favorite Gotthard cd of many people I know, I prefer lipservice, homerun and Need to believe.
  18. I hope for anew Tnt album with Tony. A new Westworld was announced with another guitar player.
  19. A dissapointing year for melodic hard rrock, the boring grunge rock was in . 1-Pretty maids - Scream Strong album with great ballads. 95 2-Virgin steele- the marriage of heaven and hell part two A great release I really love this album . I don't follow this band anymore 95 3-Rats- la vertigine del mondo 95 4-Rage-Black in mind Same as I wrote for virgin steele 90 5-Van halen- balance Not one of my favorite Van hagar album but ok 90 6-Bon jovi -These days I didn't like this album at all in 1995, It was a big let down for the fans of Slippery or New Jersey, but I admit that It has some great moment 89 7-Savatage- Dead winter dead 88 8-Firehouse 3 84 9-Malmsteen- magnum opus 83 10-L.A. guns - vicious circle 82 11-Gotthard- G 82 12-Rainbow-stranger in us all 81 13-Marcie Free-tormented 81 14-Nightranger-Feeding off the mojo 80 15-Cita-relapse of reason 80 About Amaze me, I only own Dream on and wonderland, I believe the self titled could be very good, if you all like it.
  20. Haha, yeah, but please note, my list was still a work in progress when I posted that. Hold on a sec. Just checked and it's currently at 24th spot since my last update. And I assume I still have a lot from 1997 to review? It was a poor year overall, though. Strange you prefer 'Digitalia' to 'TFTBM.' I much prefer the debut. It was a fine year for hard rock (imo). For example 1995 and 2000 were worst, I can't find a winner for those years.
  21. For Geoff, I still like the songs on the self titled Baton rouge : you can jump alone is my favorite (nice solo), but also Didn'ti,hands of time (surgin) and victims of the night are good, well in my list is on the 12th position and in yours in the 14th, not a big difference mate :-) . About Jester, I prefer Digitalia to t.f. boogieman, I still believe they were a good band. For kourosofsteel, you are so right, I didn't check the date on the cd, In Brutal metal is dated 1997. I agree It is the best Helloween cd(Deris era ) toghether with the more melodic "Master of rings".
  22. 1-Silent witness- s-t 2-Ten-the robe 3-Helloween-better than raw 4-Malmsteen- facing the animal 5-Danger danger-4 the hard way 6-Hammerfall- glory to the brave 7-Savatage-the wake of magellan 8-Aerosmith-nine lives 9-Nightranger-neverland 9-Y&T- endangered species 10-Andi Deris- come in from the rain 11-Fair warning - go 12-Baton rouge- s-t 13-Pretty maids-Spooked 13-Jestger-tales from the boogieman 14-Whitesnake- restless heart 15-Pangea-Manchild 16-Rhapsody- legendary tales 17-Sammy Hagar -Marching to mars 18-Arcara- a matter of time 19-Royal hunt- paradox 20-Stone soup-spooge I guess that 1997 was better than 1996.l
