Rob Thomas - Timeless (Modern Pop)

I could take or leave alot of what Matchbox 20 did (I did really like "Unwell" ) but Rob's solo stuff has always been pretty damn good.

Here's "Timeless" from his new solo effort "Chip Tooth Smile" ; this is probably about as good as modern pop gets (IMO anyway) 

 

and "One Less Day (Dying Young)" 

 

and a little rockier "I Love It"

I was never a big fan of Matchbox Twenty, but nowadays their popular songs are nice for nostalgic reasons, takes you back to that time when one couldn't escape hearing them........baby it's 3AM I must be lonely

Recently discovered this - Really good album. As you say, probably about as good as modern pop gets.
