The creative forces behind RADIO EXILE are keyboarder Charlie Calv (SHOTGUN SYMPHONY) and singer Chandler Mogel (OUTLOUD, TALON) who manage to get on board a bunch of internationally acclaimed musicians who for instance worked with STYX, Paul McCartney or Bob Dylan. The result is a great melodic rock album which touches many grounds. "Radio Exile" contains twelve comparatively different songs, mostly American-sounding and at time with slices of soul ("Soulfire") or QUEEN-like tunes ("Higher Than The Sun") and a massive amount of groove. It's brillant cover-art should be mentioned, too, alongside the authentic, powerful and analogue sounding production. As long as there are outfits like RADIO EXILE popping up, there's no need to worry. Melodic Rock par excellence!
