my last 2 days

so, here is a brief rundown of my last 2 days. Friday afternoon I go to Lowes to get some stuff and I re-do the dining room floor. This will sound bad but we are family here so here goes. The dogs are getting up there in age. 2 are around 13 and they have pee'd in the same spot so much that it had gone through 2 layers of vinyl tiles and into the hardwood floor underneath. had to tear sections of this up to lay the wood laminate. Go get the daughter from school. me and a neighbor to walmart so I can load up 14 bags of Topsoil in the back of his truck after the wife takes the daughter to dance class. So the wife text she is going to pick up supper after dance. I go ahead and start to fill in the pits and holes in the backyard before someone turns an knee or something. where I had to get a sewer line replaced a few years ago the place where the line had settled and make a really bad line in the yard and where I had trees cut last year had left a few divits where limbs fell from 40ft high or so. so I'm sweating and getting tired. they come back home and ask if I want to go eat. I'm like "yeah, but it will be about 40 minutes". The wife wasn't going to wait at all so it became an argument about the whole thing. Me asking them to wait so I can finish and get a shower and Her wanting to go and bring me back something. sometimes I'm just too stubborn for my own good and neither would give an inch. I think she was acting all selfish and she saying I acting like a 2 year old. what should have been a really good day, feeling good with what I done ended as a crappy day.

Today I get up and I'm sore from all the stuff I did yesterday. Daughter had a game today at 1:00. Had my sister come in from 4hrs away for a while. when she leaves we go get food. My daughter is really wanting to "camp out" in the backyard tonight. I'm tired and worn out, super tired and sunburnt but I'm not getting a good night's rest tonight sleeping in a tent in the backyard. tomorrow sounds like a hot bath, laying around kind of day in front of the tv.

I think she was acting all shelfish...

My favorite line in the whole story. What kind of shellfish was she acting like? Lobster? Clam? Wait a minute, I got it--crab!

I'm don't know how this happens but I remember sleeping in the backyard as a kid like every other weekend and it never bothered me at all. I remember going camping with only a sleeping bag and it not bother me. growing older is the enemy. I hardly slept at all and all the "outside" sound's seemed to irritate me more than soothe me. I guess I'll never get one of those machines that uses nature sounds to help you sleep. Plus on top of that I got cold, so the blanket I was laying on to try to soften the ground I had to end up using to cover up with too. My daughter did do ok though. had the sleeping bag laying on a coushened mat. the other bad part is I don't have a level spot in my yard. there is always some kind of grade and where we set up the tent we slide down and our feet end up pushing against the tent.

    • New song 'Siren Song'. From Frontiers: Seventh Crystal, who stormed on the melodic rock scene in 2021 since their stunning debut album "Delirium", have announced the release of their third full-length, "Entity". Seventh Crystal took everything up a major level (or two, really), "Entity" sees the bands exploring and expanding different genres, bringing their melodic rock formula, to progressive rock fields, sometimes little heavier and back to their unique rock style. Seventh Crystal is a melodic hard rock band from Gothenburg formed by Kristian Fyhr in 2019. What started as a solo project by Kristian quickly grew into a larger endeavor when Johan Älvsång and Olof Gadd joined the project. Shortly after, Anton Roos and Emil Dornerus also joined the band, completing the initial lineup. In 2020 the band signed a deal with Frontiers Records and released their debut album "Delirium" in 2021, which made waves all around the world. Due to the guitar-heavy parts on the album, the band realized they needed one more guitarist to be able to perform the songs live. Gustav Linde, an old friend of Anton Roos, took on the job, and the band began to work on their slightly more guitar-oriented follow-up album "Wonderland." The album "Wonderland" was released in 2023 alongside the EP "Infinity," establishing the band as an act to be reckoned with. During the fall, Johan Älvsång decided to step aside, and the band continued as a five-piece into the recordings of a third album. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, from soft rock to hard-hitting heavy metal, Seventh Crystal showcases a diverse range of musical expression. The band aims to be authentic and serve as an inspiration, outlet, and escape for their audience. Their sound is characterized by bombastic productions, catchy hooks, and dramatic and emotional melodies. TRACKLIST: 1. Oathbreaker 2. Thirteen to One 3. 404 4. Path of the Absurd 5. Architects of Light 6. Interlude 7. Blinded by the Light 8. Siren Song 9. Versus 10. Mayflower 11. Push Comes to Shove 12. A Place Called Home 13. Song Of The Brave
    • The latest band featured is "Y&T". This is a good one, as always with channel.  On a side note, I'm just thinking that there aren’t too many bands that have a Lead Singer that is also the Lead Guitarist.
    • Featuring Ben Christo, Joe Elliot and Billy Duffy
    • Better than any recent ACDC, but that not saying much. Mediocre bland tune, main highlight was the girls.
    • Judas Priest - Screaming for vengeance Lizzy Borden - Visual lies
    • That was fun...Krokus being an influence with the Swiss connection...apart from the obvious AC/DC....have to be honest I did not think that voice would come from the singer lol
