Don't know who these guys are except they're from Japan.

This video clip on YouTube should give you a laugh though.

It really is amazing how much they have tried to look like KISS.

Surely it's an intentional rip-off of KISS, visually? Either way, yeah, ridiculous filmclip and musically they sound good. Shame I can't get past foreign languages as there really were some great sounding bands from places such as Japan.

This is one of my fav bands of all time. That's why I have the lead singer Demon Kogure as my avatar :)

They've been around since the early 80s and they pretend to be some demon cult or something and sang about the end of the world at 2000. So after 12 years and at New Years Eve 1999 they split up. They do continue to reform and play shows and recently had a 25th anniversary celebration.

If you like dual guitar harmonies, hard rock/tinged with a bit of metal, quite a bit of atmosphere then you need to check these guys out. Along with X Japan they are in my mind the 2 best metal/rock bands to come out of Japan.

Best yet you only need to get 2CDs to fully enjoy this band. They are Black List and Blood List, both released in 1999. Both are newly re-recorded version of their best songs, one on the Atlantic label and the other on Sony. There was also a greatest hits released last year but I don't know anything about it.

Check out these songs and be impressed :)

Stainless Night - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bZI4JY-gtM&feature=related

El Dorado - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t23KqfnHxw&feature=fvsr

Quite a diverse band and well worth checking out!

That actually amused me a lot. Only in Japan, eh?!

So mate, is it all in Japanese, or did they do an English album anywhere along the way?

Like X Japan they have a mix of Japanese and English lyrics. Lucky for you, if you dig the music the best of compilation that came out last year also come out in an English version (I think):

This one from 2009 is definitely in English, is pricey though:

Wow, their discography consists of about 400 CDs. I'd be interested to hear that Best of CD in English... but not for $44.
