Laurence Fishburne joins Predators

 

CSI and The Matrix trilogy star Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast of new Predator movie, Predators.

 

According to ShockTillYouDrop.com, Fishburne will be playing a character named Roland, alongside Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins and Alice Braga.

 

Director Nimrod Antal wouldn't be drawn over a rumoured cameo by original Predator star Arnold Schwarzenegger in a recent interview with ComingSoon.net. "We'll see, but we are trying to stay with the original as far as the monster and the atmosphere and the tone of the film,” he said. “But we’re trying to do something new and contemporary that feels fresh."

 

Robert Rodriguez's reinvention of the Predator franchise is currently filming in Austin, Texas following a month of location shooting in Hawaii. 20th Century Fox are aiming for a July 2010 release.

 

Hopefully they can come up with a good "Fresh" story" the last one was just a gory bloodbath. And I didnt enjoy it much at all. In fact I thought it was kind of stupid. They need to do one where we go to the Predators planet and kick their ass!!
