I actually did rent this a couple of days ago based on the trailer. The first two-thirds of the movie was somewhat ok for a foreign film, but the final third was an atrocity! I don't know if they ran out of money in the end or what, but it had some of the worst special effects and acting I've seen in a while. It was all a little 'out there' for me. I do not recommend this at all. If you're looking for a good film kind of like this, rent Outlander. That one is very cool.
