Love this show! I prefer the US version by far, but they aired one UK series here in Australia and a good show is a good show. Sadly, I think that was the first UK series and was about 10 years old by the time we saw it. We don't even get the US series here anymore and I think the odds of seeing the new UK series are somewhere below 0. :(

I am not usually an "Apprentice" aficionado but started watching the Celebrity edition a year or two ago when Gene Simmons of KISS was on it... unfortunately Gene kinda went out like a b*tch early on in that series (he took a bullet for another player who deserved to be fired, not him). This year's edition has an interesting mix: former Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick (who at first glance looks startlingly like Gene's long time girlfriend, Shannon Tweed), annoying comedian Tom Green, annoying Mother/Daughter team Joan and Melissa Rivers, country singer Clint Black, football star Herschel Walker, and a few other odds and ends I cant' think of off the top of my head.

I don't get the concept of celebrity 'Apprentice'. Does the winner seriously get a job with Trump? Someone please explain this to me. Thanks. :)

As for Trump vs. Alan Sugar, I'd take Trump any day of the week. I have never seen a more detestable, humourless man than that Alan Sugar dickhead. I seriously hated that prick. Way too serious for me. At least Trump does have a sense of humour, and great taste in women. :)

The celebrities are all representing their favorite charities... I believe whoever wins at the end of the show gets a nice fat check from Mr. Trump to donate to that charity.

Ah, I see. I'm down with that.

I can't think of a bigger waste of time than watching a group of fawning sycophants compete to see which one can shove their tongue the farthest up Donald Trump's ass. Since when is it a noble trait to win an ass-kissing contest? Especially when that smug, hair-weaved prick is the object of their analingus.

Bad hair indeed. And a prick too... but not as much of a prick as Sugarland.

    • Eclipse played that same game when Apocalypse Blues came out.  They dropped that song as just a single and made no mention of an album at that point as far as I remember.  All they were doing was selling the 7 inch vinyl.  We know now though that they clearly knew a full album was coming as Erik said they basically were working on both albums at the same time and deciding which tracks would go on each album.  Granted, maybe they didn't know the full timing of album #2 at that point but they certainly knew one was coming. Maybe the same here.  Maybe will trickle out a few songs and then announce an album later this year or early next year when it's closer to release.
    • So, Danny posted how the song is doing on Spotify and someone asked if this means a new album soon. Danny just made vague replies and said "well there will be more stuff coming soon"
    • Funnily enough, I read that this afternoon when I went to add the album to my collection on the main page. I got the European version which has two bonus tracks ... if you don't have them, you really aint missing anything
    • Faith in the Heartland-Journey
    • Created and Posted this video recently in order to promote Ryder SRIII a little more.  I love this song, one of my personal favs from the record.   Be careful viewing at work though (NSFW), just for a couple of images in the video.
    • Named my HH self after the song Auslander on the album Stain. Love that track. Really like the whole album. It's like Living Colour's "Slave to the Grind" or "Dog Eat Dog".
    • From Frontiers: TRACKLIST: 1 Awesome God 2 Stand Up 3 Warrior 4 There You Are 5 Speak His Name 6 Why God Brought Me Here 7 Praying 8 It's Up to You 9 Holy Moment 10 Leaning on the Cross 11 Jesus Christ --- When a musical family gets together to record, magic can happen and this is what the VAN ZANT’s are here for! Brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant (respectively current lead vocalist of Southern Rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of .38 Special) were able to find room in their busy schedules for the first time in 1998, recording their collaboration album “Brother to Brother”: a tribute to their late brother and Lynyrd Skynyrd original singer and founding member Ronnie. Such release was highly acclaimed between the press and fans worldwide and brought the duo to record a follow up album, simply entitled “II” in 2001. Their collaboration during the years did not stop as they tapped their feet in a more Country-oriented style with the release of “Get Right With the Man” (certified Gold in the USA in 2005) and later on with “My Kind of Country” in 2007. Now the brothers once again reinvent themselves, offering a Christian-themed album encompassing their Rock and Blues musical roots (and with a touch of Country for good measure). The result “Always Look Up” is made up of songs that will touch the listener’s heart and soul, with an emotional depth that is truly second to none in today’s musical landscape. Experience the soul touching that only the music from the Van Zant family, can provide. You will see why they are icons of the American South, and musical heroes to millions around the globe!
