Here is a band about which we usually don't speak alot. While I was dust off their discography (it's been a long time), I said to myself (yes I talk to myself) how much this band is excellent. Any fan here?

Yep Chris, I quite like them when the mood takes, although I only have the 'Jurassic Shift' disc which is really cool. I know Nick is a fan.

They are very talented but it takes more spins to appreciate them than Dream Theater.

Yeah I love the Ozrics....but I think you have to be nuts into them to grab all their CD's as it could be argued that a lot of the stuff is very similar

 

 

......I'm nuts....

 

 

I have all their CDs :lol: They have a new live CD/DVD combi out sometime late May.......I'll be grabbing that I should expect.

 

The missus hates them though and I dragged her to see them some years back (I always drag her to see stuff she doesn't like Van der Graaf e.t.c.)......she just laughed at the audience as half of them were stoned.

very cool band, I have most of the cds, even a cereal box!!!! hahahaha My favs are Curious Corn, Waterfall Cities, and love em all!!!!

 

yo Nick, aren't they getting back with orig members??? I saw em a few years ago, and not many members were left, great live though, very trippy!!!!

Keep hold of the cereal box Paul, I have that too and it's worth a few pennies. I keep saying I'll sell it as the CD's are available to buy now anyway...but I can't bring myself to do it.

One of the geezers form Ozric drinks in my local.....nice enuff fella, but I never forgave them for the Byker Grove theme song tho! :whistle:

Just found out they have a new album out April 27th called The Yum Yum Tree - more spaced out exploits are on their way!

      Released back in 2019 on vinyl only in most of the world, the only place it could be purchased on CD was Japan. It is finally available on CD to the rest of the world with the addition of two bonus tracks. Originally released in 2019 as a limited-edition 10" vinyl record, "Breadcrumbs" is a tribute to the garage rock heroes of Alice Cooper's hometown of Detroit. The EP features six tracks that showcase Cooper's raw and energetic take on classic Detroit tunes, including Suzi Quatro's "Your Mama Won't Like Me", Bob Seger's "East Side Story", and the MC5's "Sister Anne". It also includes the two additional bonus tracks "Don’t Give Up", conveying Cooper’s message of hope and perseverance to his fans during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a live version of "Go Man Go" from his electrifying set at Hellfest 2022.       Not gonna lie, I kind of like it. Hardly classic Crue, more like something that would have appeared on the Corabi-fronted self-titled album, but it's not bad for an oldschool band trying a modern hard rock song. That being said, I expect my opinion to be a lonely one, and I understand why fans are dogging on it...

      Hi everybody, my band (Ricky Shindig) just released a cover version of Journey's Separate Ways. Before we were Ricky Shindig, three of us were in a cover band together. As a little "turn back time" we decided to record a cover song while we slowly start working on some new material.  We chose 'Separate Ways' because this song is an essential part of every Ricky Shindig party and one of the catchiest songs ever written. We are looking forward to hearing any kind of feedback

      Posted the first few videos when they dropped but realised I had not posted about the album, which is probably as I can't afford it. Not only is the CD $20 ($30 signed), but the postage to the UK is $46.25, which is by far the most anyone from the USA has tried to charge. Their answer when I questioned this was "We don't control the postal system". Now I know US prices are high on postage, but not this high. $30 seems to be the norm these days, but I have had two CD orders from the USA that have cost $9 and $5 (not sure how but I aint complaining). Anyway, the album is already out
