  1. This album is worth owning but there is nothing steller there. I can think of 50 other bands that put out one cd in the early '90's that smoke this one. Production didn't help this one out at all. Still there are a few stand outs but the cd keeps going for more everyday.

  2. Well my take on it is this.....I am in no way slamming Sam or his label or taking sides, as i think everyone knows my opinion on subject of "silver pressed vs. CDR's" ...........But a CDR is not worth $40 and most people who are buying them are not aware of that fact as most of the auctions state "reissue" and it is nowhere stated it is a cdr......... So honestly to say the prices are "Market Value" is false.......Because if it was stated as CDR/Reissue, then see how many are sold and at what price, if the price still goes to $40 plus, you can then honestly say that it is the "Market Value".........As far as Sam getting the music out there, i applaud that because most of the bands on his label may not of ever seen the light of day on CD/CDR if he had not put it out........But also it is Sam's label to run how he sees fit, and if people want buy from him they are free to do so, if not that is their choice as well........His silver pressed cd's i will buy, the cdr's i will pass on, but that is my choice......Just how i see things, and i am not asking anyone to agree or disagree, just my personal preference.........

I would say that Lon hit it right on the head. I agree 100% with him. I also have stayed quiet because I threw stones at Sam before, then realized that I'm not exactly a saint. I have made mistakes in the past and learned from them and I run my business different today. It's not my place to try and judge anyone on here or anywhere else for that matter.

I will say this though. '80's, you are not helping Sams cause. I realize that in the heat of the moment passion can take over but that's usually bad, not good. Make your point, but try to be professional. Just some free advice my friend.

    Thanks

  3. Two words can describe it........"absolutely horrible"......don't waste your time.  This album has nothing in common with "Ecstasy", other than the musicians who played on it.......

I made the awful mistake of tracking it down and paying some steep money for it only to find out it was painful to listen to and nothing like their highly regarded CD.

I think most people who are familiar with it will utter the same opinion.......

What he said......yep! Don't pay more than a penny for it and even then I would try to get it cheaper! :P

  4. I'm also amazed on how many people like Crazy Nights. I really thought when I started this it would be at the bottom. I mean really the music was just destroyed by the over use of key boards IMO. Ron Nevison just destroyed it. Reason To Live has to be one of the worst ballads they've done.

Reason To Live wasn't a very good song but I like the video, the blonde in it is HOT,especially the scenes where she is dancing around in the bathroom with a towel on or should I say barely on!!

How can you say that is not good song :anon:

  5. Hey Mike... and anyone else who is waiting for payment from him. This was the last I heard from 11jean11 after filing a NPB dispute with him. He sent it on Oct 12.

"I am in Europe travelling and moving around alot. I am very sorry I couldn`t make payment right away

, but there is no worry, I buy alot on Ebay and I am making arrangements for the payment to be made

    within the next 2 days.

    Thanks so much.

    11jean11"

I gave him 12 days and another response after this update, but it appears he may be having a little TOO MUCH FUN in Europe!

Yes but he still made time to bid on the cd's. It took him about 10 days to pay for the Bronx Zoo cd I sold him. I e-mailed him to see if he received it because he hadn't left feedback and got no response. -_-

  6. Just wondering if anyone here has bought music through the music stack website?

I just ordered 'Dirty Rhythn - Hard as a Rock' from a guy in Germany. The CD was said to be in mint condition, and cost me just under $16 for it plus shipping. Just got the confirmation today that my CD has shipped. We'll see how long it takes to get here.

Anyone else do business through music stack? Have I made a mistake?

Good vibes, or bad with your experience?

    Let me know.

    Thanks,

    M.

Can you post a link for them?. I am curious...

    Thanks
