  1. I just want to say that I have always been lucky enough to get my cd's from him. Although I have noticed a large amount of negatives as of late. I actually thought his account had been suspended? Maybe it was someone else though.

As for negative feedback always exposing the truth? That is not true. Everyone is human and screws up from time to time, but it has been my experience that sometimes people are just assholes. I have a total of 7 negative feedbacks, half coming from things that I bought and paid for but never received the product. When I leave negative feedback (and I don't like to have to do that) the other person leaves it in return stating some bullshit reason. I'll be honest with you people, the reason I made my comments private recently is because some asshole didn't send my product and his reason for leaving negative feedback was because I make fun of handicapped people? WTF! First of all I would never do that. Second of all WTF does that have to do with you not sending my product? Obviously I come unglued and leave something as childish on the reply and after a while I decided I didn't want people seeing that about me. It was total horseshit! At some point I will make it public again when those comments are buried but it should never come to that. You are providing a service on Ebay. If you can't be a human about it, get the f*ck off there, ya know?

Anyway, I'm done venting. I hope no one ever gets screwed in any way on Ebay but this is the world we live in folks.

  2. A valid question ?? Do you really have to/want to pay these over-inflated prices ?? I know we all love our music but bloody hell !!! These people seem to put a huge price on and if someone puts in a bid, they rub their hands together and don't stop because if one pays they think everyone will....

Well, you're talking to a person who doesn't exactly give cd's away. Sometimes if you want a cd bad enough you have to pay for it. Not always, but you can get lucky sometimes. This is a prime example actually. If, and I do mean if, I receive the cd it's a cd that usually goes for $225-$250. I'm getting it for $46 plus shipping. It's all a matter of opinion I guess. I don't think that $46 is too steep, but neither is $150 to me if it's essential. When you get into the $300-$1000 range then I think it's a little ridiculous.

  3. Ladies and gentlemen,

    I need your advice.

I am very picky with AOR/Hard Rock and I never buy CD just because they are expensive or because of the hype. However, I feel that I purchased everything I was planning to and right now I am looking for some bands that might interest me.

Just to let you know -I am currently loosing my head over:

    HURRICANE-All of it

    TREAT-Pleasure Principle ONLY!!

    KUNI-Looking for Action ONLY

    ROKO-S/T; Open Invitaiton ONLY

    GALAXY-S/T

    FATE-Scratch'n Sniff ONLY

    DALTON-Injection ONLY

    SKAGARACK-Hungry for a Game ONLY

    KARO-Heavy B-Day

    STAGE DOLLS -S/T ONLY

    1. Does anyone know by any chance what other AOR/HR bands sound like FATE'S "Scratch'n Snifff", GALAXY'S self titled album? For some reason I find some similar patterns in the guitar technique and I am wondering if any other band has the same sound guitar-wise :band: and vocal-wise :band: . I might also add HURRICANE-"Over the Edge" here for a very original sound and production.

    2. Also, SKAGARACK-"Hungry for a Game"; BLUE TEARS-S/T; BON JOVI-SWW;ROKO-S/T;

Anything of the sort at all?

    3. And finally: does anyone know anything about CZAKAN-"State of Confusion". wHAT DO THEY SOUND LIKE?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Denis.

Well Denis, Unless I misread nobody said anything about Hurricane? My GOD! Own all four of theirs cd's. The first three are manditory. Here's what kind of prices you are looking at as of late.....

    1. Take What You Want (Maybe the most essential) $100 for a US copy and $125 for a Japan copy which has more tracks.

    2. Over the Edge - Japan and US usually are close to the same. You're looking at anywhere from $25-$40

    3. Slave to the Thrill - Depending on which cover you buy. The uncencored cover you can snag for $20-$25. The banned cover US goes around $40-$45. A Japan copy with OBI will cost you $50 or more. Trust me, I found out first hand on that one:)

    4. Liquifury - Pay no more than $10 for it. Good but not essential.

    Hope this helps!

  4. A while ago i had the problem of purchasing several cd's from antan7 on ebay to find they were all Russian pressings that were not to be sold outside of Russia and boy was i pissed off about it and contacted MTM in regards to this as the first two that came were from their label.

They wanted all the details stating that they are for the Russian market only and were not to be sold outside of there!

What delight i had when i recieved a message from ebay this morning stating they have suspended the account of the seller antan7.

I wonder if it has anything to do with selling "ILLEGAL COPIES" and maybe because he was selling so many , the Record Companies might have thought they need to put a stop to this ?

If this is the case , they should not stop there because there are others i have seen also selling them.

Maybe it's all just coincidence but who cares, as long as the dodgy :ahole: is gone !!

I always pass on his cd's because of that bullshit. I hope I don't offend anyone from Russia who may be on this list but I won't buy anything from anyone selling cd's from there. There is a massive bootleg problem going on there right now. The person in particular you are speaking of always has a better price than everyone else too. I almost bid on them a couple of times but decided better of it. Unfortunately T-Boner is right. He will just open up another username account. For that reason, I will not buy from anyone in Russia on Ebay. Unless the muthatrucker moves to another country, he isn't going to fool me. Sorry you got burned though bro. I think we all have been a time or two.

    Good Luck

  5. Okay, I may pushing the panic button too early but I won this Brian Jack cd Early last week. No big deal right? Well, this guy had one up for auction the week before and I lost in a bidding war (that doesn't happen often:)) It went for $202 I believe. He put another one up a couple of days later and I thought maybe he got lucky and found a couple somewhere (after all he is from Baltimore where Child's Play hailed from). I bid on it and won it for $50, much cheaper than before. I am obviously very happy because I saved money. I sent a money order certified so he would have to sign for it since he didn't accept Paypal. Well, he's been kind of a dick since then but said he received the money order today and is shipping it out Thursday or Friday due to a lot of snow that hit Baltimore. I am still fine with this until today. I see that he has another one up for auction. Now anyone who knows anything about this cd knows they don't grow on trees. Is it possible that he actually came across this many? He has 12 positive feedbacks and 1 neutral with no negative. Should I be freaking yet? His user name is Ronnie537. If anyone knows anything about him please inform?

    Thanks In Advance

    JL
