  1. Their rollicking, rocking and often rambunctious performances as a local bar band, packing in the crowds just south of downtown, got them their initial contract with BNA Records in 1997.

Well, the clip sounds nothing like St. Warren but it's seems pretty good. I am looking for their Honest Planet cd right now but everyone I come into contact with wants too much for it. Last few times it was on Ebay it didn't make it over $40. Everyone I talk to wants between $65-100 for it. I'll take my chances waiting for the next time it's on Ebay.

Hey, anybody have a copy of their Blue Eyes tape? I would take a cd-r or recorded copy if possible. I believe it came out before Honest Planet.

    Thanks

  2. Hey guys, I wish I had better news to report but I don't want anybody getting screwed on this like I did. There is a seller on Ebay (century-moon) that is selling Badd Boyz - S/T Japan cd's and they are total bootlegs. The cd itself looks very funny on top & bottom and the inserts are just a bit off on writing & blurred in some places. I have owned this cd before from a Japan seller and I know this is not a legit press. Not to mention he has a huge freakin stack of them apparently.

Stay clear of this one..... <_<

  3. Don't we have enough of these threads already???

Shush man, it's better than a prime-time sitcom

...then you have too much time on your hands...shush........

I do and I find it funny - its way interesting and educational than "your favourite whoever album/song poll" endless topics.

Besides, if you dont like it, just dont read it, its that easy. Peace

You know what? I don't really care what you find funny or if you like reading album polls. I'm not going to get into a flame war with you because I could give a piss.

    It's that easy. Peace.....

  4. communicating what?

I think maybe he means that since there is such a small percentage of people who are passionate about our kind of music (compared to all the idiots out there who are into country, rap, etc...), you would think that we would be more supportive of each other instead of at each other's throats all the time.

    Yeah, what he said. :)

I agree with you all about getting along. It's a shame that everytime Retrospect is brought up it seems to turn into an argument. I feel like the argument in this thread might of been my fault. I was just saying that I understand both sides of the argument. I knew before I submitted that original post that I shouldn't do it and now it's caused a another day of arguments. I'm sorry if it was me that caused this, I was just giving my honest opinion.

Nah, you didn't cause anything. This seed was planted before you ever joined the site. I'm growing quite tired of all the childish argueing. I love this kind of music and support everyone who is trying to get it to the people. I would just rather everyone get along instead of taking jabs at one another.

  9. They haven't arrived in the mail yet, but I am (im)patiently waiting for the X-Sinner FIRE IT UP and Final Axe AXE OF THE APOSTLES discs that I just ordered. :) I am awful when I order CDs, I spend the next seven to ten days on pins and needles, harassing my wife when I'm at work (I call her on my cell phone from the car and say "Did I get any mail today? Did I get any mail today?") and if I get home and they haven't arrived yet I go into a total funk. Needless to say, when they DO arrive I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. :)

    That's me to a T also bro :)

    JL

Lion - Trouble in Angel City (Japan) The only Lion song I've heard is the Transformers song so I'm looking forward to this.
