  1. Hi all,

I actually wished Sam good luck with the Reckless release. I'm not sure where the attack came from??

I'm good friends with Gary Kriss of Reckless and I want to see him treated well unlike another good friend of mine (Matt Mathews of Sweet Teaze) who got ripped off by Sam, and I think this Reckless release deserves a lot more effort with the artwork, production, promotion, advertising, etc.. than the previous Retrospect Records releases. I'm sure that most people who have heard the No Frills album would agree with that???

    Kind regards

    Dave

I believe the attacks came because of the way it was said. I realize we are not speaking in person but it's not a coincidence that several people replied to your comments. Something to the effect of fucking up the cd? Ring a bell?

And I am not attacking you. I am just sick of hearing it, that's all. BTW, if you are such good friends w/ the band member...why aren't you releasing the album? Just curious...

  2. P.S. I really hope Sam does a good job of this Reckless album!! He has been known to fuck a few discs up in the past!! Good luck!

    Kind regards

    Dave

Everybody knows how you feel about Sam, and all you do is come across as a whining, pathetic child everytime you throw mud like this. You've mentioned in the past that Sam is your competition, so that's why you say the things you do. Wouldn't it be better to actually release a few discs to compete with Sam instead of the crap you constantly spew?

Then again, maybe it actually benefits Sam when you act this way. I mean, why in the hell would any band want to release their stuff with you if they know how childlike you actually are?

Anyway, I'm sure I speak for many people on this message board when I say, GROW UP AND SHUT THE FUCK UP!

I second that...David, I have no idea what your problem is but you have made one thing clear to me...I will NEVER purchase any cd's from you. Quit whining & go sign somebody before Sam signs everyone and you are left with your dick in your hand..

  3. Any details? I saw they reissued mega rarities like Robert Tepper´s "No Easy Way Out" and Fahrenheit´s "Talking ´Bout Love"?

These are definitely Bootlegs-you surely remember all this Swedish guy who sold the Stage Dolls-Commandos

on EBAY and told that he found a rest stock. In similar way suddenly lots of copies from Kuni-Masque were offered to Swedish dealers-and these Dealers now also offer the Robert Tepper.Okay,Sweden is part of European community and maybe it is more possible to accuse here people who produce Bootlegs-but this is

the business of the Major Labels and their interest seems only in checking the charts than prosecuting that

illegal re-issues.More horrible is the US Situation where you can found Labels FULL with such stuff and nobody

prevents this-is there no authority at all????

The Kuni cd's are not boots...........

  4. I know Delbert isn't too fond of me but I'd like to add my 2 cents.

I know Dan has said this before but I'd like to add this to ANYONE who makes a purchase of $300 or higher...

USE A CREDIT CARD WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

The Credit Card companies WILL protect you.

For even larger purchases like $5000 and up , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go pick up the item in question IN PERSON and give em the cash , or a cashiers check or money orders.

I have bought two Lamborghinis off eBay and there was NO WAY I was going to give somebody any form of payment other than IN PERSON.

I have also bought 'lots' of cd's from sellers up to $4000 and ALWAYS used a credit card so that I didn't get shafted.

As a seller I do accept checks (had 2 bounce in 6 years and both buyers were very apologetic) , money orders , cash, Western Union and of course , the dreaded Paypal - the WORST of them all.

Ebay warned me also that accepting cash and W.U. payments was a violation so I had to change that.

It's not so bad when a domestic buyer files an ITEM NOT RECEIVED complaint because you can shaft them right back but the international transactions are a little more tricky.

HOWEVER , I have found a way to beat Paypal at their own game when it comes to proving delivery in foreign countries (especially Germany)

Oh man, please provide that info...........I believe Global Priority gives the info they need now also. It didn't use to though....I have been nailed three times by Italy and cannot even ship there now

  5. Sorry to hear about your ordeal Delbert. I have never accepted PayPal for this very reason. Nobody ever has convinced me that PayPal was the way to go. I still only take money orders... and on a few occasions I have taken checks, with the understanding that the item would not be mailed out until the check cleared. I know it may be the old fashion way of doing things... but I have never been burnt. So it takes a little longer. It's the price the buyer has to pay if he wants to add a rare CD to his collection. I've never had a buyer complaint about method of payment.

The flip side of that is that I won't bid with people who only accept money orders & cash.....been screwed that way before too............

You were probably the one who piped me on ebay for the Atsushi Yokozeki Project CD but i just got it aswell a couple of days later for the same amount i bided for on the one i missed out on.

This one also has the OBI strip.

There was one up about 6-7 weeks ago that went for $67 US so i was happy to get it for $44.99US including shipping to Australia :drink:

Nice! I keep hoping against hope that I'll come across those in some back alley pawn shop but I don't think that will ever happen.

You have a better chance of finding them on Ebay or a private seller. He only charged me $75 for both together which was a steal. He also had the Bite Down Hard Demos up for auction but I already had it. It went for $60+ by itself. He's probably kicking himself now.....

On the same line of subject, I just pretty much pick-pocketed a mint copy of Inside Out - Seasons for $38. I'm on a roll Damn it!!!!!!!!! :P
