  1. Last night, I inquired about a Victory CD "Temples Of Gold" with 3 bonus tracks.  Here is my message:

"Hi. I want to thank you for the two CDs I bought last year from you "Fair Warning - s/t" and "Frontline - The State Of Rock". I want to buy this Victory CD with 3 bonus tracks. The Shipping info is for the US. But I live in Canada. Can you help me out? Sincerely."

    And his response:

    "Hello,

You're registered customer and your country is Canada. How come the system shows you US postage?

Actually the rates are equal for all North America. Just curious why do you think you see the US postage shown.

    Sincerely,

    Customers Service

    dbnf"

His last sentence sounds unprofessional.  :2up:  I went ahead anyway and paid with PayPal.  We'll see what happens when I get the CD.

I've always known them to be a class act. I think you took it the wrong way and are over-reacting. Just my opinion though.. :)

  2. To celebrate exactly 6 years of eBay selling under the names Soldier Under Command (only you seasoned vets will remember that one!!) and KISS MY DISC, our Canadian division is cutting the ribbon today (March 12) on our brand new store. Loaded up with tons of rarities from Japan as well as obscure indies from around the world, the selection will blow you away just like we're blowin' away the six shiny lit candles on our birthday cake!

Have a look tonight at 5:00 EST March 12!

Congrats to you both! But I hope the prices will be better than the Japan division :(

Well... i seem to remember you didn't have the best prices on earth either ? :)

I wasn't throwing stones. It was more of a joke than anything. Hell, I saw where they sold the Keel - Right To Rock Japan cd for $275 so more power to them. My prices, I thought were fair depending on what cd it was. As I said before when I put my cd's in the store I had no real intensions of selling them because they are from my persoanl collection. However if someone wanted to pay those prices, then I would sell them and take a chance of finding them later. I might add that I did sell some very good cd's and make some money at the same time. Here's a few examples.......

Shotz - S/T Before the market got flooded with them went for $150

St. warren - Honest Planet went for $150

Child's Play - Long Way which I regret selling because I can't find it now went for $200

I could keep going but the truth is that there are people who will buy these cd's at these prices. More power to them also......... :D

  4. That sucks Dave. I only buy from sellers that accept Paypal and in all the excitement I too have made that mistake. But for the trouble you went though he (IMO) certainly didn't need to leave you a negative feedback. All he had to do was let the thing drop. It's not hard to relist an item and get the fees back from ebay. For something that was only a couple euros he certainly held a grudge. So the next question is do you try to get it withdrawn or retaliate with a negative back at him?

I know it sucks for you when this happens but I understand why he did. I sell on Ebay also & it costs money to list these cd's. Anyone who has not been able to pay always gets negative feedback. I think you should expect that. :(

  5. Ebay will do nothing about retalitory feedback, which is a joke.

My first negative was from a guy who I won an auction from.

Basically I was bidding on behalf of a friend & he gave me the money as soon as the auction ended.

The auction & invoice did not include postage costs so I emailed the guy at least five times over a two week period asking for total cost so I could send the money.

I did not recieve one single reply.

In the end I left a neg comment about failure to reply to any emails, and the next day I recieved the same neg comment from that guy, word for word!

I emailed Ebay explaining the situation & they emailed back days later saying "We dont care,go fuck yourself"

Well thats not what it said, but thats what it implied!

Ebay do not give a shit about its members, seller or buyer.

I have found Amazon so much better to deal with!

If you look back at my feedback I had one asshole buy 4 "buy it now" items just so he could leave negative feedback. He even put as one of the comments "I'm not going to pay you". Ebay never did shit about it. It's freakin' ridiculous!

  6. With still being new to this, i am reading about all of the bad experiences that all of you have had and decided that i would add one of mine. I won a lot of cds from "mwhetrock" from ebay and ended up paying over $200 for a lot of cds and went on for 2 months -email after email with no response and finally after getting ebay and paypal involved finally got a refund and it was about like pulling you last tooth. I have since found i was one of the lucky few that actually got my money!! Just a lil info for everyone!! Later Rich

the Melodicrock site. From what i know it´s the real deal. The only other copy i have seen of this cd also had this Kodak picture as front. The numbers on my copy is C1 103608-01 GVCD-9512 Technicolor.Hope this will be a help for you.

By the way, this is my first post here.I hope i can contribute with something.

    Take care

That's what I'm finding out. This must have really been a home made cd, huh? It's a very good cd, as most of the Frehleys Comet songs were the best when sung by him. I appreciate your time and info. It has been helpful.

    Thanks

  8. For those of you that have read my ongoing saga with nashvillerawk from eBay (Mick Rowe), you know that it's been extremely frustrating.

I thought about writing him another email. I got it typed out and then thought "well, maybe I shouldn't send it like THIS." So, I saved it to be sent later.

But I wanted your opinions on this. When it comes to music and dealing with music dealers, there's not many (any) places I'd look to first besides the people here at the HHMB.

Anyway, please let me know what you think. Thanks! :drink:

    Proposed email:

    Mick,

I've tired of everything going on. I don't even want the CD anymore. I want to extract that much money (or more) from any possible earnings you could see.

Please read the accompanying link, which will be linked to any future posts I make at other sites.

Dude this is not good business. I would have turned him in 6 weeks after waiting. Has he or can he provide you with a tracking number? How did you pay? Unforunately I have had experience with didlo's like this. Shoot me a private message and I'll help you out.

  10. Hey guys--I just won a Tod Howarth cd (Silhouette) and when I got it today became suspicious. The front cover has a Kodak imprint so I know it's a copy. But I need someone to read the numbers from the cd for me. Also on the cd it says (on the back) Technicolor GVCD. Did I get screw here?

  11. Hey folks, I'd hate to think that anyone who has been following the "Ronnie The Shitty Ebayer" saga has been bored with no updates. Well here's the latest. A tracer has been sent out to verify whether or not he has cashed the money order, which DUH.....pretty sure he has. Anyway, I have been talking to my post master who is going to get in touch with his post master (where he received the money order). It appears that since I have proof that he signed for the M.O. and that at some point I will know he cashed it, along with several slandering e-mails saying he never intended to send the cd anyway I have a case against him. Not to mention he got thrown off E-bay for it. I am also trying to contact the guy he screwed before me. Does anyone know where to go to see what Ronnie has sold of late?

This isn't even about the money anymore. I am going to do everything in my power to get this guy for fraud. He assumed I would let it ride, well he was wrong. I'm tired of these assholes screwing people out of their money. All we wanted was the cd's we paid for. How does he sleep at night?

    I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks

  12. Hey Guys & Gals---I first want to thank Dan for getting the jerk off outta this "second rate" page which we all love & adore. He was a disease to the site & never spoke unless it was some sort of slander.

I am sorry that Ronnie can't reply but it is very interesting that he is now unregistered on Ebay but he says he shipped my cd's even though I have around 15 e-mails of pure slander & addmissions that he never had any intensions of sending them. Not to mention I received an e-mail from another user who lost $200 to him because of his fraudulent activity on Ebay.

I didn't mean to stir the shit again but I wanted everyone to know he is unregistered under that name now. He tried to get everyone on here to question my credebility and I wanted you to know I wasn't the fraud here. I am still fairly new so it was important to me.

Thanks for the support I received & I will again apologize for the first string of messages before. I got sucked into a verbal slander match with him and should have known better.

    Thanks

    R-A-W-K IT! :headbanger:

  13. This is the guy who posted that he'd send out a free copy of several cds to anyone who asked for them right???

I sent him an email asking for a "free" copy of 3 cds and he said to send him $7 each to cover the cd, ink, and shipping and he'd send me the cds.

    Isn't $21 a bit expensive for 3 CDRs???

DO NOT SEND THIS GUY ANY $$$$$$$$$$$$ He's a fraud and a liar! He's being investigated as of now. For $21 you can buy 50 cd-rs.

    Jaime????????????? Is this Nuno Jaime?

  14. Apparently, things got messed up in the semantics. A copy was not meant as a CDR copy but an original. Just got an email from him again clearing everything up.

He sounds like an honest guy....

Just to update on this matter without getting into too many details, this is not an honest seller. I received an e-mail from the person who won the same cd from him a week earlier and they still have not received it either. I have already filed a claim to Ebay and I believe he is also. I feel more sorry for this guy though, he lost over $200.........I only lost $50. Which I will get my money back through the post office. I'll let the goverment go after this guy.

Any way, don't buy anything from him and watch out for the same city incase he changes user names.

    Thanks

    JL

Okay, here's another e-mail from this person. Looks like Ronald is using another name to bid up his auctions also. Here's the e-mail. Please watch out for this person.......

Hello: Yes, I think I can figure out how to file a claim. He has said twice that he was going to send the CD "tomorrow". But, it should only take a day for it to get to me. I could drive up and get it andbe back home in under 3 hours.

I just don't want to jump to conclusions here. I sent him another email reminder just now. I suppose I'll give him another day or 2 to respond.

Also, it looks as if he's using another eBay account "annaaol" to set arbitrary reserves on ronnie537 auctions. annaaol has bid on just about every auction that he's had up in the last 30 days, and annaaol is only bidding on his auctions, no one else's!

I knew this was bad news as soon as I saw him list another CD like the one that I won. But, it was after I had already sent the money order.

So, I take it that you haven't received your winnings either? Did you send the money?

    Thanks,

    Jeff, eBay alias botwood

Commercial release? Sounds like a DVD I'd be interested in.

No it's a boot. It was shot from the audience but was done very well and has above average sound. It really takes me back man. I bought from a guy on Ebay who sales it all the time for $9.99 with artwork. Well worth it my friend. I will track down the link for you. He did say he has a pro shot from the tour. I'm still looking into it though.

OK, I didn't see that he has one one there right now. If I can pull the data off of it to my computer I'll burn you a copy. Just keep in touch with me and give me a few days.

  18. No matter how many great deals you find on eBay, there's always crooks lurking around. My only negative came from a guy that wouldn't answer the 9 e-mails I sent him about the Kane Roberts cd I had won for $3. My guess was that he didn't want to sell it for that cheap so he didn't bother responding. I finally left hoim negative feedback after I noticed his recent eBay history was horrible. W#ithin 2 hours, he responded with a negative towards me. Ebay suspended his account 2 1/2 weeks later. This guy was going downhill quick judging from his feedback <_<

Hey T-Boner---That is exactly my fear with this guy on the Brian Jack cd. He sold his other won for over $200, and I was lucky enough to win one for $46? He could easily resell it if it actually exists. I should know something by next week.
