    Well, I looked at Sam's site and to me it is just a case of miswording, I do not believe he was out to "who-do" anyone.......I agree with what has already been said, people need to quit nitpicking and trying to stir the pot......He has been very insiteful with what has been going on with his label......I have no problems doing business with Sam and if it weren't for him alot of the stuff wouldn't see the light of day, but at least his does in a very timely manner. Sure I like some others do not like the cdr format, but you have to look at it from his point of view, it's his money he is investing and if it does "take off" he will silver press it.......Quit looking at all the negatives and look at the positives, he is giving us great music that we wouldn't have if it weren't for him.......He or his label has not led me astray.......So like JL said, leave all the bullshit alone, if you don't like Sam or his label you do not have to deal with him............

    I had this one other time and ended up trading it to a good friend and over time wished I had kept it. Im glad I finally got another copy.

     

     

     

     

    Damn! I have wanted that for a while now. What did you have to pay for it?

    The six I was referring to were the ones that just came out.

     

    Defcon will DEFINITELY be silver.

     

    Actually none of those are silver. And Sharx took longer than expected.

    I hear ya , but there's no way I am gonna sink over $1000 into a band like Sharx who may only sell 100-150 copies.

     

    We'll see how things pan out. :)

    I picked up Desperado - Bloodied, But Unbowed this week :banger: (yeah, I know it has been re-issued but I like having the original)

    Nice find. I wish I would get the Desperado - Ace cd from CD Universe since they informed me it was shipped on the 17th and I still have yet to see it in the mailbox. I'm pretty good at hunches and I have a hunch that this isn't going to find my house if it hasn't arrived by now.

     

     

     

     

    Better contact them about it...I've had mine for 5 days or so.

    In - f*cking - credible

     

    Working last night ...couldn't sleep made weary way downstairs this morning for a quick cuppa tea before heading back to bed. Wife comes in from a trip down Middleton says she's got me a CD from a market stall and hopes I like it. Hands it me ....

     

    Danger Danger - Cockroach

     

    The CD is still sealed and apart from a crack on the front of the case (soon remedied) perfect. The Marker pen on the plastic wrapping has £3 on it but the lady knocked a further £1 off the price due to the cracked casing!!!!!! Dunno if she realised it was a double CD or not.

     

    She bought it because they had long hair and she thinks she's heard me playing them before.

    That's it...I'm giving up looking for stuff!! I'll just let her go. :doh: but more :headbanger:

     

    Not bad, Nick !! Someone didn't know what he was selling ! :) (Like the guy who sold me the Heartplay - "The Album" for 10€ at Amazon !! )

     

    And yeah, good idea to let your lady look for CD's in the future !! :P

     

     

    Actually it was wierd coz when she handed it me I had no idea what the hell it was as the CD sleeve was reversed (maybe that's the reason no-one picked up oni it? :unsure: ) so I originally thought it was some kind of demo or promo. But when I saw Cockroach in tiny letters on the spine I was quite a happy..but tired bloke!

     

     

     

    That's awesome bro! That cd is actually getting harder to find. Might be outta print or something.

     

    It's funny how much the wives can do for us just because they are aware of the music and the fact that we love it soooooooooooo much. Very cool... :)
