BLACK N BLUE TO RELEASE RARITIES ALBUM ON APRIL 24:

Crash Music Classics is proud to announce the release of Black N Blue Rarities, due in stores April 24. The album will feature a collection of rare and live tracks from the band's back catalogue.

"These tracks are classic demos and live rockers that I have salvaged and re-mastered from my original cassette recordings to be enjoyed today," says Black 'N Blue frontman Jaime St. James. "I have also thrown in my 2002 Hell Yeah demos to round out a very rare BNB rock 'n roll blast from the past."

Black 'N Blue formed in 1981 out of Portland, Oregon and released their self-titled debut album on Geffen Records in 1984. The group went on to release four albums, including their self-titled debut which featured the hit, Hold On To 18. The band would later hook up with Gene Simmons from Kiss who produced the albums Nasty Nasty and In Heat.

The group was formed by current Warrant frontman Jaime St. James, alongside Tommy Thayer (guitar), Jeff Warner (guitar), Patrick Young (bass) and Pete Holmes (drums).

The track listing for Rarties is as follows:

    1. Violent Kid 1982 (Thayer, St. James), 2. Sign In Blood 1983 (Thayer, St. James), 3. Wicked Bitch 1983 (St. James), 4. Cold Heart 1983 (Thayer, St. James), 5. Hold On To 18 1983 (Thayer, St. James), 6. Lickety Split 1986 (Thayer, St. James), 7. Serious Drag 2002 (St. James), 8. So Long 2002 (St. James), 9. Hell Yeah 2002 (St. James), 10. Autoblast 1984 Live (Thayer, St. James, Warner), 11. I'm The King 1984 Live (Thayer, St. James, Warner, Young, Holmes).

  2. I just talked to Kelly himself on Friday in person and he said the whole thing is a mess. Yeah, that's for sure. He said Foreigner management had taken some steps to persue where this was all coming from but said they told him they can't do much for a hoax someone started to collect unsuspecting people's money (guess that's just false advertising and fraud, therefore the job of legal officials to take care of). They would only get involved if someone was reissuing his stuff illegally/without permission and selling it, which up until this point seems to not be the case...since nobody ever got a CD, and there was never really any actual plans to release anything by Hurricane from "Never Say Die" records (with or without bonus tracks or signatures, especially).

I think there is more they could do if they wanted to. This whole thing can't be good for the Hurricane name.

  5. First, several distracting posts removed. If you don't care that people here were systematically ripped off, then just move on to another topic. Belittling the affected people doesn't help the situation, nor does it do you any favors...

I still say we get a donation page up and running...

    Dan?

No. Getting people to donate lets Lonnie off the hook at this point. I want to see how this plays out and whether or not Lonnie is true to his word. [Ok, I can here the laughter now; bear with me for a sec...] Some people have gotten refunds. Not all, but the number is increasing. Let's give it time to work. Let's see if Lonnie actually gets a loan and repays anything to Adriano and Georg.

Also, there's the logistics of how you handle donations, to whom they go, and how you determine that recipients are ones that were actually ripped off. How do you handle PayPal fees? Is it done with a single PayPal link? If so, to whose account? Are they trustworthy? How do you make sure that someone doesn't receive donations in excess of the amount they originally lost? Are there tax implications? What if someone donates and then does a chargeback, or does a donation with a stolen credit card? The person whose PayPal account is the "clearing house" could end up being hit.

As always, the devil is in the details...

    -Dan

I agree with everything said here. I believe it's still a good idea Koogs, just the timing is off a bit. Another thing to remember here is that the refunds issued are "pending". Which means the money is not in the account yet & may not make it there at all.

I would be fine sending funds to Dan as most would consider him 100% trustworthy. I would recommend checks though. As Dan said, too many issues with Paypal. Hopefully, we don't have to worry about it anyway & everyone gets their money back....

  6. roxxi=drive it to ya hard

i have all but given up on finding it :crying:

Have a Japan copy in my store if you want to fork out the dough ;)

    [

Bronx Zoo-Lustfull Thinking( found it in DC used CD store back in 2003; I was staring at it in disbelief for a while:)) at a $4.99 parice tag on it. The worse part is that one of the movers who was helping me to relocate stepped on it and cracked it half. Up to this day I cannot get over it.

Found one last year for $6.99 and sold it for $606.00 on Ebay the next week. Kinda wish I still had it though...

  7. However, I just noticed that Mr. Holdaway made four purchases through my web site in January for a total of over $300.00. He paid with PayPal. Now, because of the investigation that PayPal is doing over his illegal activities they have put these funds on hold and I cannot access or deposit them...

Wow, hold on! If Lon's claim that Ramierez bros had hijacked his paypal account is true, how could he use the account for placing 4 (FOUR!) orders from NEH? Something smells fishy here...

The key question would be, were those orders placed before January 13-th (when Lon started taking preorders), or after. I'd find it very hard to believe in the Ramierez story if Lon has been shopping around using his paypal after January 13-th.

It is yet another lie in this story. Lon sent me a PM a while back wanting to buy my White Lion - Pride Japan first pressing. Unless the Ramierez brothers were using his HH account also <_< The funds he used to pay with are also on hold in my account & even though Lovid didn't file a claim I had to provide the tracking number. Thank God for delivery confirmation...

Either way, I am frustrated that Paypal is holding $76 of mine (on top of the $160 I spent w/ Lovid). They got a very not-nice e-mail from me. I told them if that money was not back in my account by Monday I would call Monday & close the Goddamn thing.

    Paypal = Dumbasses...

  8. Here are the ones who have been refunded so far:

    Brian 1 of 2

    Christine

    Steve/Studboy

    Ray Seifert

    Jarred- 1 of 2

    T-Bone

    Wes

    Chris Berger

As i said i am doing them as i can, i am in the process of checking on the whole loan thing this morning to take care of all the rest. It is all i can do, but i am trying here.

That's an excellent start. I do want to ask though, what is your timeframe and/or plan regarding those who are out large sums, specifically Adriano, Georg, and Music-Buy-Mail?

    Thanks,

    -Dan

That is my question too as I said in the PM to you Lonnie. As much as I would love my refunds, I am willing to wait until you take care of those who spent a large amount of coin with you. It's not fair to them to have to wait until the end...

  9. I received the following bit of advice:

Since this involves interstate crime, it's a matter for the FBI. Anything that crosses state lines is a matter for the feds. I'd start with Internet Crime Complaint Center which is partnership between the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. You should also contact the attorney general's office in the state where you or another victim resides. The state office should coordinate with the feds and other state AGs.

    http://www.ic3.gov/

If enough people who have been defrauded report this, the federal authorities might take action.

    -Dan

Spread the word people...this has to happen from EVERYONE. Let's get this prick...

  10. I am only here to make a statement. And then i will not be back. I am doing all i can to make sure everyone gets their money back. Why would i want to come here and say anything, all some (not all people here) people are going to do is make up their own little theories and spew their bullshit like they have done so far. There are some good people here, no doubt. But what astonishes me beyond belief are the ones who have nothing to do with this at all want to talk so much shit. Stormspell, you can't say a damn thing because you have no clue, but like you do always you want to chime in. Same with Jarred, now you were involved and you will see your money back, but you like to make all your comments like you are a saint. How about when you called threatening a 65 year old woman, you can deny that, because i know you will, but it was recorded with your phone number, but that is not here nor there, shows just how big a man you really are.

There has been more than 2 refunds, but only 2 people have commented here, did you people ever stop to think maybe some people don't live for the bullshit that most here stir up. I have all the proof in the world to show i am not the one who did all of this. Do i owe anyone here and explanation, especially after what has been said, without anyone trying to contact me personally to find out the whole story......NO. Now everyone who has contacted me has been told, if they chose to believe it, that is not my problem. As i have said i coule easily just say fuck everyone and walk away and let this all be an afterthought, but i am not that way. If i has scammed everyone like what alot of people here would like everyone to believe, i don't think i would even show my face here.

So all i am going to say in closing is, like i have told Tony, i am doing what i can to make sure everyone gets refunded, i am doing this out of my own pocket and i am not rich, hell if i had took all the money i am accused of, i think i would have it to give back. But i didn't take it. You all can say what you want. Paypal knows where the money went, now whether they chose to tell anyone is on them. But it was not me who withdrew the money and it damn sure didn't go to my account. So now all you folks can make up your stories about that as well. As far as not having any remorse, i have plenty of remorse for the friends who were hurt, but for all you shit talking dickheads(especially the ones who had nothing involved in this) who are just sitting here stirring the pot, you all can go fuck yourselves. I don't care if Dan(Mr. Holyer than Thou) bans me or whatever, because after all the shit that has been talked in here most of you deserve each other. But to all the rest who have been patient, if you will remain patient a tad bit longer you will have your money.

Just got a e-mail from Paypal saying they have decided to side with me but guess what? Lovid has no money in his account and I am pretty much fucked!

This is just one big circle in this thread going around & around. Same shit being said over & over...you know what Lovid, go fuck YOURSELF! If I don't get some satifaction soon I WILL BE SUEING YOUR ASS DICKWAD! I know where your ass lives & it won't be hard to let the police know.

    Your ship has sunk....

  12. Same with Jarred, now you were involved and you will see your money back, but you like to make all your comments like you are a saint. 13. Here are excerpts from an e-mail Lon sent me yesterday regarding refunds. He told me it was ok to post this on HH. I feel communication is always VERY important no matter what the dispute, but never more vital than right now.

    Tony

Of course i have every intention of paying everyone, it is only right. Do i believe i am responsible to do so, in a matter of speaking no, i was not the one who took the money. But being a stand up person i am, i am doing this out of my own pocket. It is going to take some time, but it is the best i can do. As far as getting a loan, i'm not going to do that. I have already spoke with paypal and so has my lawyer, and they know exactly what is going on and that i am doing what i can. Paypal knows it was not me who cleaned out the account, as it went to a bank in memphis. All my info was changed etc, i didn't catch that till after the fact. Another fact no one knows, but it doesn't matter. People have already made up there mind and that is fine too. Everyone at HH has to point the finger somewhere and have all their conspiracy theories. So it is not a place i need to be a part of anyway.

As far as Adriano goes, i don't owe him anything but for the preorder stuff. His other cd's were mailed, so he has not been hit with anything. He will get his stuff as promised. If anyone is in danger of losing anything it is me, because he filed his claim with paypal, so now he will receive the cd's and i am sure paypal will refund his money. but Adriano is such a standup guy or so he has everyone believing.

And Georg, things are being done to get him taken care of as well. Why do you think all the others are taking so long. And your little post on who is owed and who has been refunded is totally wrong, there have been alot more refunds that no one has spoke up about.

So i am doing all i can, that is all i can do.... At least i am trying to do something about it.

    Lonnie

Uhhm...OK, well who else has seen this ghost of a refund he is talking about? Please speak up now...I am curious...
