I am thinking of trying to get some refund or something, but the seller is so stupid and vague I don't know what she's actually saying. From what I gather, they still intend to send the CD but cannot tell me when. I did ask for a refund, unless they still intended to still send the disc. I've not got a refund yet, so who knows? Easily the most stupid person I've dealt with on ebay. Just out of curiosity, where'd you get your copy? Was it cheap? If you don't mind me asking, of course. Hey, you know what would be cool... is if EVERYONE on this board got a copy of the CD for a couple of dollars... except me. I'd be so happy, like I am now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Regardless of what the hell this person is up to go to paypal and file a chargeback straight away. I think you have to do it in the first 30-days ... or something like that. Claim 'item never received'. They may just be piss-fartin you around until the 30 days expires and then you're left high and dry. Otherwise you'll end up empty handed. I got mine from Jody (Gringo) off his massive sale list. Think I paid about $15.

I've been the victim of a scam recently also.... MALES BE WARNED! I don't how many of you shop at Kmart, but this may be useful to know. I am posting this to you to warn you of something that happened to me while out shopping. This happened at my local Kmart and it could happen to you. Here's how the scam works: Two seriously good-looking 18-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping in the boot. They both start wiping your windscreen with a rag and Windolene, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy t-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another Kmart. You agree and they get in the back of your car. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen last Tuesday, Wednesday, twice on Thursday, again on Saturday, and also yesterday. I think it may get stolen tonight aswell.

i made the same mistake... i thought he said it , until I continued to read on.

Quite an interesting spread of opinions!!! Seems like if the right procedures were followed and cds were silver pressed then almost everyone would be onside.

Without casting any judgements or starting arguments it would be good to see what the masses think rather that the opinions for the usual suspects both for and against the label.

to me it often comes down to how much you pay for the cd. If paying $5 I wouldn't be too picky, but in your case of $70 I would be really picky, unless of course the seller has detailed the damage in the description. cheers Lindsay

I think an Obi strip is a naked guy in Star Wars.....

Even though he apprantly has another buyer willing to pay $400 more than me for the lot, he has now emailed me saying he willl sell me the 10 individual discs (out of 66) i was keen on. Why sell to me if he's already got someone willing to buy the whole lot at $400 more than me? I'm gonna ask for photos (not scans) and see what he comes up with....

Without telling him to shove it, when he increased the price overnight I just said "Sorry I am not interested in getting involved in an auction for the cds". The initial price he quotes i said i would accept and replied asking how he would accept payment, if i or someone i know could pick up the cds in person. Don't worry, i'll be very wary. No way I'll be sending any $$$ to this fella without digging deeper. cheers Lindsay

Anyone know, or traded with or heard of 'Alam Harleyn'? I got an email from this person who claimed to have an incredible list of cds for sale soon after I posted my 'wants' list on a couple of sites. The list is great and they put a price on the lot so I accepted thier offer. The day after I recevied an email saying the price has now risen by $400 as someone else is interested in the 'lot'. Any info or experience with this guy would be much appreciated... Maybe I'm worng but something seems a bit fishy cheers Lindsay
