Not for everyone
Yeah, a friend of mine is into them and played one of their albums awhile back and it didn't click for me. I'm always willing to give bands a try a time or two, so figured I'd listen to these, but unfortunately same results. Thanks for sharing though

I'll pass, don't care for the singer. Plus the songs are pretty average except Blue on Black and Kenny Wayne Shepherd's original version is better, imo

Solid tune, I've never heard this album. In viewing the promo trailer from 2016 it included snippets of this video, which makes it odd that it took more than a year after the album was released to finally put it out.

Great news, especially since the release date isn't far off. Looks like 3 tracks from the EP, surprised they chose Bring the Light but not Open Your Heart. Hopefully we get to hear a new track soon and that shirtless photo isn't the album cover.

My favorite album from these guys. Too bad they aren't including a few unreleased songs from those sessions. But still seems like a really nice reissue with the demo tracks. I just hope the remastering is done well.

For anyone who has been saving up since the announcement the band's online store has the locked & loaded version scheduled to begin shipping on 6/29 for $999.00 USD. I've let my wife know it will be on my Christmas list .

New song from the upcoming EP "The Devil's Turn" to be released in late August via Frontiers on digital download format only

Vocals are still a little weak but the tune itself sounds pretty good

Not convinced on the music though
Thanks for sharing, the song Conquer sounds alright, but not something I'd go back and listen to much. I thought he'd put together a band more along the lines of Endeverafter

it's not the debut by the way. Their debut was very average.
Saw some comments on FB that was more like their second album.
You're right, I recalled listening to an EP, but in looking at the HH main site they also put out an album way back in 2001

Johnny Gioeli announced this week that his solo album "One Voice" is finished, but the release date is being pushed back to December

The new songs sound solid, but for me the hooks aren't as immediate as the singles off the debut and "The Strange Case of...". Maybe I'll enjoy more after a few more listens.

For Father's Day Robby put this video out for the song Eleanor Robyn from his new album.

For those that don't subscribe to paid streaming services, Metal Blade put the full album up on Youtube. The layered vocals and melodies are there, but when I listened back to back with Master of Disguise it sounded a bit generic musically and lacks the attitude and power of the earlier material. It isn't bad viewed in isolation but having been a longtime fan I was disappointed.

Sadly having a bit of a revolving door of guitarists.
Michael Grant was giving his marching orders about 2 months ago, and Johnny Monaco was announced as replacement a few days later.
Monaco has now left as he cannot deal with the travelling, and has been replaced by former Guns guitarist, Adam Hamilton.
I was disappointed to hear that Michael Grant was out as I thought he'd bring some fresh ideas to the songwriting, if given the chance. With that said, it would be nice to see him fronting his own band again.

Not as good as that first single, but still a pretty good tune. Sounds like a track that would have fit in nicely on either of the last two Hardline releases.

I purchased this...drivel,terrible album imho...really disappointed.
I gave it a listen on Spotify and I agree with your thoughts. No comparison to their first two releases in terms of the song quality.

Thanks for sharing the link. The new songs are along the same line as the last album or two with more of a modern, pop rock style. They can still write catchy tunes, but I prefer the style they used on their album Silver.

I wasn't finding this album as far as purchasing or streaming on the sites I usually go to. I was wondering if anyone else had any luck?
