Similar to a few other recent releases it looks like Halestorm has posted the entire new album on Youtube. Unlike the latest Kissin' Dynamite and Lizzy Borden releases though the band looks to have posted all the tracks individually rather than as one upload.

Song is average.
Agreed, sounds like another slight change in their style too, at least based on this first track

I recall seeing that listing about 2-3 months ago(?) I unfortunately don't have any info on the seller though. The band still performs live in my area from time to time, although only the guitarist remains from that era.

Better than the mediocre first track and Robbie sounds great as always

My copy is arriving today. Iam so used to amazon prime that when I don't have it, it sucks!!! I pre ordered 2 months ago!
I get impatient/anxious waiting sometimes too. I guess we've gotten spoiled with fast shipping. While I like that convenience, I miss the days of going to a local record store on release days. You got it when you wanted it, no busted cd cases, damaged vinyl/covers nor receiving the wrong item.

This is a really good comeback effort by Clif. He might not appeal to fans who prefer more of a hard rock/metal style, but if you enjoy AOR I recommend giving Lucky Dog a spin. The album is full of classy, catchy tunes with a stellar production.

I could have done without the cover of Need You Now and wished they'd have swapped out one of the ballads for another up tempo track. But, don't let some minor flaws deter you, this is a high-caliber project and well worth checking out.

I've given the full album a listen and it sounds pretty good to me. Oddly enough, I had noticed Metal Blade Records themselves was one of the parties who posted the whole album on YT last week. They had done the same with the latest Lizzy Borden album.

I seem to remember that he had health issues and took some time off but agreed that Terry could step in while they tour, but then they just decided to not let Jack return and never actually told him face to face
Yeah, I think you are right about the health issues part. That might have even been Jani Lane that both sides agreed to have fill in for him on vocals for the rest of that tour

The first promo track was just ok for me, but I'm liking this new song
-
I like these guys and thought the debut was promising. Those cover songs were nicely done too. This new track isn't bad, but I was expecting something with more of a hard rock edge to it.

according to a post by Terrys wife on Facebook, that has since been deleted, Terry was not even aware he was fired until he saw the press release
If that is true it doesn't surprise me. I recall an interview in which Jack Russell stated the other members never directly told him they were moving on without him. He did go on to accept blame for the split but it doesn't dismiss how the other guys handled things. I am a fan of both Terry and Mitch, but if I am going to pay to see Great White live I'd want to hear Jack singing the tunes.

New video...and the new album gets released today as well

Another one of those bands that came out a few years too late and signed with a label that didn't promote them very well. I played this one to death back in 1990. The four tracks you mentioned along with Come Play the Game were my favorites. The sound on this was huge, another great production job by Neil Kernon. They were a good live band as well.

Been listening to this album recently.
A great disc (On The Edge)
They borrowed heavily from Def Lep Hysteria on many songs, particularly Precious Love.I didn't know about them until 10 years after "On the Edge" was released. They had minimal publicity in the U.S. As you mentioned, good album, and worth checking out, especially for Def Lep fans.

Liking that tune a lot.....Digging the heavier, up tempo vibe. This one is definitely a summertime, windows down type of song
I agree, this new track is my favorite of the four songs released thus far

I'd downloaded it from Google Play but now it's even taken the files off my download.
Wasn't super impressed on first listen.
Let's hope the album gets better after a few listens. It seems like someone made it available too soon and then quickly removed. The official release date is now August 24. They posted another comment on FB.
Friends! There is a method to the madness! Our Label "pulled a fast one" on us all and the release last week was just a sneak peek for all you loyal followers of Sapphire Eyes(including us it seems..?????)!! The "True" Release will start July 6 with the single MY DESIRE on all Digital platforms. After that the pre-order if the album on CD will start and shipment of Physical Media will start 24th of August. We are very proud of the Album and when it finally arrives we can't wait to hear from YOU!!!

Sounds pretty good, looks like they have physical cds available for sale on their site of both this new album and their EP
-
I'd considered ordering, but seemed a bit pricey

Thanks for the replies and for sharing the band's comments about it. They seem to have encountered more than their share of difficulties with getting this completed and released.
