I have the Japanese version of this album and it contains a pet peeve of mine:
The bonus "acoustic" track that's basically the same thing as the original track. Yeah, it's "different" but c'mon. An acoustic version of a ballad that's already basically a piano track?
LOL. I get it, I totally get it. But something about his about-to-blow-out-an-artery style and passion works for me. Also, the band was super-nice when I reached out to them on Facebook so I want them to stay as-is
Been listening to this one a lot the last couple days and it's really grown on me. Feels like a continuation of "Ghost of Graceland", which was an incredible album. This one is just a hair below that. Lots of great tracks with "Man Overboard" being my current favorite right now. Great stuff.
Every single album Frontiers has ever released has been a "must hear for fans of...[insert genre here]". Not like they're going to say "yeah, this one's not really our best work, you can skip it..."
