  1. New hard rock band from Norway. Reminds me a bit of some of the sleazier Space Age Playboy's era Warrior Soul. https://www.facebook.com/supernovadowntown http://www.supernovadowntown.com/
  2. I do like both of these songs and the mix through my headphones is fine enough, sure it sounds a bit 80's but isn't that the point? The mix isn't bad either all the stuffs were it should be... MAYBE these are pre final mix cuts. We shall see, either way I like it a lot and the disc will happily reside in my house and in my player.
  3. That's a good song, I enjoyed it which for everyone else it means its terrible...
  4. Tommorrowland Very cool and action packed with a good message. The whole family enjoyed this one!
  5. Did not see anything here on this and I recon a few will care. Metal Church reunites after 20 years with Mike Howe and a new album is almost in the can. Here is the ePK video from Rat Pak Records: Badlands reboot from June of 2015: http://www.metalchurchofficial.com/ https://www.facebook.com/OfficialMetalChurch
  6. I really dig these guys as well (at least this tune). Nicely played, great harmonies, bad ass guitar solo and some eclectic yet modern twists. Good stuff! https://www.facebook.com/AdventHorizonBand Advent Horizon is a contemporary hybrid of 70’s prog and 90’s rock with a blues twist. Emerging from the local music scene of Salt Lake City, Advent Horizon mixes high energy performances with lyrical and original songwriting to create a unique musical experience. Advent Horizon is headed by guitarist and lead vocalist Rylee McDonald, with Levi Benjamin Shell on guitar and vocals. Cason Wood and Mike Lofgreen, bassist and drummer respectively, account for the group’s rhythm section.
  7. Stellar stuff here kiddies, I don't care what you say! Emerging from the Grammy nominated rock band Gov’t Mule, POA (Planet of the Abts) consists of the locked and loaded rhythm section of drummer Matt Abts, killer bassist Jorgen Carlsson, and is fused with the incredible talents of Swedish guitarist and lead singer T-Bone Anderson. http://www.planetoftheabts.com/ https://www.facebook.com/planetoftheabts
  8. Thrash/speed metal from Serbia's Prisoner. https://www.facebook.com/PrisonerSerbia
  9. Detroit's Wulfhook. Solid metal imho. New album out on Tribunal. https://www.facebook.com/wulfhookband
  10. Track 4 of First Stryke. I like it so there...
  11. Very curious why you say something like that mate? What's the reason? Signed with Frontiers you'd hope they'll be able to have a well produced product that will reach a much wider audience and hopefully expand the possibility of future albums if they go well. Staying indie, they might never even get to release an album (for a variety of reasons); it'd probably sound like shit, production-wise, it'd be impossible to get and probably only reach an audience of 15 people. Sorry mate, not having a dig at all as you clearly know 100% more about the subject than I, but I find your comment very curious and genuinely want to know the reasoning behind it. I see it a bit different and based on some feedback from bands that have experienced the label, maybe the dyi approach is a better business case. All speculative of course and it's my opinion, but I don't think a label such as Frontiers is going to get a never to be known outside a very niche market band anymore recognition than they wouldn't get on their own hitting up the many sites that cater to this genre. You Maybe you may see a "better" produced effort but what's lost in that endeavor?
  12. Agreed. Sounds like my recent (the last 14 years) movie going experience.
  13. Yup. As I watched this, my friends bought tickets for an Imax viewing. I didn't want to get hyped for this, but I can't help it. Yea it is very hard not to geek out over this. It does look damn good. Does anyone know who is rebooting Williams' score now that he has left us? What? He composed the score for this film. Are you mistaking him for someone else? Yes my bad I was thinking of Jerry Goldsmith another amazing composer. I do see that in a very intelligent business case that John Williams is composing this 7th installment.
  14. That scene were JLC is standing in the doorway and its all black behind her and MM appears out of seemingly nowhere still illicit chills. Best cinematography ever and is ripped royally still to this day by everyone.

  16. Interested to see how The Poodles score when you get to them. Haha, sorry to disappoint, but knowing my latest filing methods, they'll be in 'T' for 'The.' I can ruin the surprise, though, and tell you non of them will rate above mid-70% as far as I can see. I can't wait to get to Poison, personally. I was meant to say of that bunch yesterday, that Perfect World album was kind of one of the best, but is more or less one step above demo quality in terms of production. Man it sounds like shit. Anyway, today it was; Petra - Unseen Power Petra - Jekyll & Hyde Phantom Blue - Built To Perform Phenomena - Phenomena Phenomena - Dream Runner Phenomena - Innervision Phenomena - Blind Faith Phoenix Down - Under A Wild Sky Picasso Trigger - Abstract Addiction Very good day once I got past the Petra nonsense, and the Phantom Blue CD ain't great either. As is the Phenomena debut... lol, but the rest were very good. That Perennial album is very nice indeed, if only for Your The Ones, however the entire album is quite solid.
  17. Just a reminder as a civilian your opinion matters not, you may have a voice, but alas it.t is rarely if ever heard. You may now resume your regularly scheduled program already in progress.
  18. If memory serves their is a movie tie in.

    Eufory

Another good up and coming metal band! http://eufory.sk/
  22. Musically this is very nicely done with a great solo and the singer has a nice voice (and she is certainly wears a leather mini well), alas the haters will swarm as it is not sung in English. Not a concern for me, but a deal breaker for others. Enjoy!?!? https://www.facebook.com/WhatrockOFFICIAL
  23. Nice hard rock bordering on metal stuff here. https://www.facebook.com/undercodemusic?fref=ts http://undercodemusic.com/
