  1. "Crash 'N Burn to live again"... "Up From The Ashes, I Rise"... "Only To Find It's A Lie". Phoenix imagery in the album artwork. Reincarnation? Such thoughts are completely opposed/Heretical to Catholic doctrine, so another one that must be Satanic, yeah? ...and no, the Phoenix references aren't just about him rising from the ashes of the band "Dokken", they're more profound than that.
  2. Nice one Mr.AOR. It wouldn't happen to be Mr. "Sebastian" AOR, by any chance?
  3. Here's one from somebody we all love and respect that seems particularly poignant... He should practice what he preach's. Actually, to be fair, it's a great track. I like Pearl Jam about as much as I like Neil Young, but there's a great video of Pearl Jam performing this live, unfortunately it wont let me embed it.
  4. Yeah, it's disturbing. I just don't understand how this is even a debate.
  5. The acceptance of transgender Males competing athletically with Females baffles the fuck out of me. Surely any sane person could see how ridiculous it is, yet it's not just accepted, it's encouraged. I can't understand it. Nothing against transgender people, but this is some bullshit. It also makes you wonder what sort of satisfaction an athlete would get knowing that they have a huge biological advantage against their opponents. I'm not including all trans males in this statement, but the ones competing against girls/women must be sociopathic. Slighty off topic, but I watch the USA Today show in the morning and they did a story a couple of days ago about your latest "Jeopardy" record breaking champ. A lovely looking lady. Seriously though, that's fine, her gender orientation didn't give her an advantage in this example and good on her. The ones competing in female sports though, should be ashamed of themselves.
  6. It's a novelty and not really doing it for me TBH. I think this has already been said, but If I want to listen to vintage KISS, then I'll listen to vintage KISS.
  7. I've always felt that way about Peter Garrett and Midnight Oil.
  8. Yeah, fucking New Zealanders! I've heard the same things.
  9. I jest, of course. It's true that the only Canadians I've ever interacted with are on this forum, but they're all great guys.
  10. BINGO! The one and only motivation for these two Muppets.
  11. Another Killer track from Aussie band "Kings Of The Sun" and one of my alltime favourites. It's like a sequel to the previously posted "Serpentine". One of the best intros you'll ever hear! SHE loves this one.
  12. By 1997 we'd had enough of every second TV soap Star releasing a single down here, then "Natalie Imbruglia" (another "Neighbours" alumni), released this brilliant and very unexpected classic.
  13. Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't generalize anyway. It's just that the only interactions I've had with Canadians is on this forum and... ... I call 'em as I see 'em.
  14. Yeah, as I said, he's very hit or miss. I haven't heard it for a while, but I remember not really liking his Solo stuff.
  15. I think the only ones I can relate to are #5 and the strange hypocritical relationship between #2 and #3. The others don't concern me.
  16. He may very well be. It's rampant over there.
  17. Well then my friend, if you haven't heard the aforementioned "Evidence One", then you're in for a treat with these tracks from their Killer three albums. Get on the main site and cross reference his name. He's quite prolific. I'll even throw in a Killer "Duran Duran" cover from another one of his great projects "Midnite Club". Just ignore the first 10 seconds.
  18. Doggy's just remembered a great one. As he's unable to post videos, I'll gladly post these on his behalf. Ricky Gervais from '83. If you're not aware of this, then prepare to have your mind blown. The first track is actually a bit of an early 80s "New Wave" killer.
  19. It's from the album, "Marko Pukkila (With Legends) - KISS MY COVERS".
  20. Which one, Carsten Shulz or P. J. Molla? Carsten's a long time journeyman featuring in many projects. I know bugger all about P.J. Molla.
  21. Radio Exile - No Pity on the Highway. Killer track from a Killer album featuring another "hired gun" Vocalist, "Chandler Mogul".
  22. This project gives "Evidence One" a run for it's money. Carsten's only a guest Vocalist (2 tracks) BTW on the second album.
  23. Yeah, this one is a little gem. I love Carsten Shulz. A definite hired gun with many projects under his belt, but I do find him to be hit and miss. When he hits though, it's great. "Evidence One" comes to mind. It's close, this isn't as good as those albums, but it's definitely one of his big hits. You should check out "July Reign" Cody.
