A Killer album released a couple of weeks ago featuring "Rob Rock" on Lead Vocals. Here's 5 tracks, the first one I've posted is the only track not sung by Rob, but by "Jorn Lande" and it's a ripper. The other 4 aren't too shabby either. Of course, with Rob Rock involved there are Christian overtones, but it's still killer stuff despite that.

Bonfire - Bang Down The Door. Killer track from a Killer album with a Killer Vocalist. This one popped up in my rotation today and it occurred to me that unfortunately it's a little bit "rapey".
-
Bruce Springsteen - Outlaw Pete. A track from Springsteen's 2009 album "Working on a Dream". It's a cool track, but there's something very familiar about it, something "Dynastic" shall we say. There's hints of it early on, but you can really hear it around the 3:20 mark.

I guess that's fair enough, but who's buying the re-recordings? It just taints a legacy.
-
The Cult - Wild Hearted Son. A Killer track from a Killer album. I'm not a vinyl guy at all, but this album has just been reissued with a fancy red and blue double LP.

I've posted this one before in this thread, but this time I'll add a fun fact concerning the well known title. Every part of our body consists of chains of carbon atoms. That's why we are considered (amongst all other living things) as a "carbon based lifeform". The carbon atom consists of 6 protons, 6 neutrons and 6 electrons. Food for thought.

"Ghost" are actually playing in Melbourne tomorrow night. I'm not going, but it would be cool. Anybody seen them live?

RockFavs YouTube channel. (Obscure 80's demos).

Nightfall - Key To Your Heart (1987). Another good one. -
Here's the full performance by KISS. By AFL Grand Final entertainment standards this is pretty Epic.

No. No ink for me.

The PIES are victorious. Everything is as it should be.

I reckon you might be right.

Here's an interview KISS just did recently with the AFL. https://www.afl.com.au/video/1043394/you-got-the-best-kiss-talks-footy-with-cal?videoId=1043394&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1695950700001

I reckon "Shout It Out Loud" is a big contender also. We'll see soon.

Phantom Park - Freight Trained! From the '94 album of the same name.
-
Anyone ever heard of this guy? I've also seen his name spelled "Eddie Ray Wolfe". The first two tracks were recently posted on YouTube and they're sensational... IMHO. The epitome of AOR. The only other thing I could find was a track he performed on the "American Ninja 4" soundtrack in '91 called "Fight Fire With Fire". I'd love to hear more from him.

I remember the first time I saw this cover back in the day. Hilarious.

Yeah, I felt that Auslander was having a go at those who are easily offended, not Andrew. I think the wombat got the wrong end of the stick.

WFT - Washington Football Team new name is... ???

This makes my brain hurt. You literally cannot win in this day and age. -
The "Eurythmics" got away with it in '84.

Just thinking about it. I don't know how many tracks they'll perform, maybe three? Nothing too obscure, just ones they're known for in the mainstream. It's not my favourite KISS track and I hope they don't, but I reckon they'll definitely do "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll To You II". I think "Rock and Roll All Nite" for sure also. I'd love to hear "I Was Made For Lovin' You"... ...unfortunately, I don't think we're gonna hear "Hide Your Heart".
-
I'm just wondering what they'll sing.

You should check your post in "The Song Game" thread last Thursday mate. Glass houses and all that.
