  1. Here are some examples of what I'm looking for. Many bands use background vocals, but I'm looking for backup vocals in the forefront, if that makes sense. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkz8NZe5WfY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybICtsy5cJU (Now that I think about it, the reason I consider Wall of Silence to be one of my all-time favourite albums may be because of the huge vocals. On. Every. Track!)
  2. This is what I'm taking about. Links to shit I can listen to. Thanks, mate!
  3. Do you boys know of any free sites I can stream matches live? I haven't watched football in a long minute, mainly because I don't have TV, and following via stats wasn't very exciting, but I'd like to get back into it.
  4. I loved it, personally. "I'm shitting myself innit, but at the same time..." "What?" "This is sick!"
  5. So, I was listening to Winger's "Blind Revolution Mad," and I was reminded how much I love that huge wall of vocals. It made me want to compile a list of artists, or just tracks, that use backing vox to the extreme. Then I was reminded of how little I know, so I thought I'd get your suggestions. Which bands took advantage of their back up singers the most? Which tracks are the best examples?
  6. Has anyone else picked up this album, or at least heard it? It's pretty solid Prog Metal from Seattle, similar to Dream Theater and even Vanden Plas. http://retrospectrecords.com/products/atomik_clock.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOt9mUBAABo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qrq_wEpr7p0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMPykwlbFh0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_umWoOQbtY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRmY_9DSBBk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4We-PucKj0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJ73PDd-Fhg
  7. The Road is a dark film, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Probably the most realistic depiction of a post-apocalyptic world. As for the Horatio Hornblower series, I haven't seen those in ages. I quite enjoyed those, as well. Actually I believe you are thinking about a relatively new series on Hornblower. Peck only acted in this one movie about Hornblower and it came out in 1951...and yes the Road was realistic but is was still very depressing stuff... Ah, yes, the film. I'd like to see how it compares to the series.
  8. Bloody Double-Posting Phone Shit. Don't recommend it.

  10. So a friend of mine just recently graduated from OIART. I believe he finished in the top five. Anyway, he won an award for his final project. He took a game trailer for Sony Online Entertainment's "Planetside 2," and completely remixed the audio. I'm not the kind of guy to sing praises when I don't believe them to be worthy, but I was honestly blown away by this. I had no idea my friend was this talented. Here is the original trailer, followed by the redone, award-winning version. Original Justin Dick's

  13. It's always been one of the highest average-priced disc on the main site. Though I believe there are only a handful of recorded transactions, 'cause, like you implied, it doesn't show up on eGay ever. I'd like to get my hands on a copy, but I don't intend to pay the price it'll most likely demand. Didn't some of the members form Gunshy afterward?
