    Hello!

Sorry, I was just being a dick. Your last name is Gomes? Reminds me of an album I was given. Do you like Pepeu Gomes? ;} http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v3GtqZiIc0

    Hello!

Much then my english wich can't exist.
  3. It's been too long since I've listened to Adriangale. Thanks for reminding me.
  4. So this would be cool. Hopefully it happens. I'd like to contact them and make some suggestions. Oh, Abbotsford is my hometown. I live three minutes from where this would take place. http://www.abbotsfordtimes.com/news/rolling-stones-and-pink-floyd-in-abbotsford-mega-concert-proposed-for-yxx-1.594238 I believe it's been over 20 years since they've held a festival at the airport. There was Sunfest, and I remember seeing Petra, Whiteheart and others in 1992, I think it was. I would have been 5.
  5. What titles are you looking for? I wonder if my local guy would ship. He doesn't overcharge.
  6. I watch a lot of James Bond movies so I'm used to hearing the very prim and proper British (London?) accent... therefore the "street kids" in "Attack the Block," between the accents and the slang they used, sounded like they came from an entirely different planet Reminds me of years ago when I met John Gallagher of Raven - hell of a nice guy but his extremely thick Newcastle accent was a little hard to follow. The receptionist at my job at the time was originally from London and she had the very prim-and-proper Brit accent, I mentioned to her that I'd just met this guy from Newcastle and couldn't help but notice how different his accent was from hers, and she sez "Oh yes, Newcastle accents even sound strange to ME." Those northerners... They sound much different than Londoners. Especially South London. Throw in a few scousers for a laugh.
  7. Grown-fucking-ass men listening to Rihanna. What. The fuck!!
  8. There is a war going on. Drywallers inside are playing Top 40 Pop, while I blast my Hard Rock outside. Grown-ass men inside listening to Rihanna. 26 year old punk outside listening to Stryper.
  9. I would first suggest looking for a store near you. It's important to support local comic shops. They may also be able to get whatever you want, if they don't have it.
  10. Doh! My message was aimed at Karpet, but for some reason I thought I was replying to you. Must be your inextricable link to the Movies thread; Funny thing is - I wondered about exactly the thing you mentioned while I was watching it, i.e. "surely no one who isn't English is going to udnerstand what these guys are saying"? I didn't have a problem with the accents, but I'm sure that's the reason they're making an American version.
  11. The Family JEWELs - Marina and the Diamonds
  12. There are loads of them, often they are linked to betting sites or TV stations in middle eastern countries. I don't have links, but have Googled specific games before and found them after a few attempts (have to make sure you've got good anti-virus first and go through a lot of advertising shite). Edit - according to the Palace messageboard, Wiziwig, witopia and lshunter.tv are good ones, although I know nothing about them. I will give those a try. Thanks.
  13. Eyes of a STRANGER - Queensrÿche
  14. I've been spinning this one, as of late. Originally released in 1995, but I believe it was re-issued in 2001 as Joshua Perahia. As far as I can tell, they're the same. The title of the album, "Chapter One," leads me to wonder if he planned to release more. Anyway, this is solid Melodic Hard Rock. Perahia slays that guitar, and Michael O'Mara is one mean sucker on vox. I don't know why I had to find this on my own. I would have thought this would be talked about more often around here.
  15. Let us not get carried awa... Woah! Okay. Maybe. I did say MAYBE! Because for me really there is no equal. Yeah, it's difficult to compare. I think if these guys had heavier drums it would be close. Sounds great anyway.
  16. STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT - Private
  17. Have they not set on a lead vox? There are only three in the promo shot. The cover did nothing for me, but they could write a good album.
  18. Let us not get carried awa... Woah! Okay. Maybe.
  19. Been meaning to watch this one ... How's it I've seen this before you lot? It didn't even hit theatres out here.
