  1. Here is an old '92 gig review with 'The Storm' (Rolie) supporting Bryan Adams. The Storm released two of my all time favourite CD's but in this live review they got an absolute slaying. I found it amusing the reviewer suggested they change their name to Kevin Chalfant and The Storm (-:
  2. Looking through this forum should answer that question for you-it already has come back, and arguably it never went anywhere, just got less popular. There are tons of great glam bands that have emerged in recent years.
  3. Definitely looking forward to this, haven't heard the demos before but it sounds right up my alley.
  4. I missed out on seeing them live a few years back, here in Australia..totally bumed about that. Great band...one that everyone seems to like.
  5. In the Pink (pre Sunshine Jive) early 90's melodic hard rock / AOR They were the 4th best unsigned band in the above poll.
  6. This is a 1991 "best of" poll from Boulevard Melodic Rock Magazine. What an incredible year. The top 10 albums are all awesome, though I would have included Dare - Blood From Stone as well.
  7. Congratulations, always an interesting and entertaining read, next goal 200?
  8. Excellent band with an awesome catalogue, will always check out their releases.
  9. Just collected it over the years, some of these lesser known bands I once had demos for, others I've never heard in my life. I don't know why but I guess its always refreshing to hear of other bands that were "missed" and don't get talked about too often. Forums like this are perfect for it because there is always someone out there who can tell you who they were and sometimes throw a few old demos your way which is even better (-: I don't know I just find all this old stuff interesting...
  10. Yeah to be honest I like the Soinger era stuff as well, especially Thickskin. I think of it as a different band though, I don't even compare to the Bach era.
  11. Oh and the MP3's are available for free download, so there's one great reason to check this out. I do believe this site is affiliated with John Farnham himself so it is a totally legit download.
  12. Heard about this recently, over at Hard Rock AOR Heaven blog in the request and fill corner. There are 10 tracks and for unknown reasons the album was never manufactured or released. It has been made available at this John Farnham fan site http://johnfarnhamresource.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/break-ice-john-farnham-album-that-never.html Some of these songs were released on various 80's movie soundtracks including Savage Streets, Voyage of the Rock Aliens, The Slugger's Wife, Fletch and RAD. Nice compilation, worth checking out for any Farnham fans out there.
  13. A couple of old "in store" ads for a meet and greet with Keel and Ratt. 1984/85 that makes these about 30 years old!!! Two of the greats IMO!!
  14. Yeah Funk-O is my favourite as well. Will check out the new one for sure.
  15. Yeah NEH has always been my 1st choice for AOR / Hard Rock discs, following this AOR Heaven and music buy mail.
  16. I welcome anything new from JSS. Looking forward to this.
  17. Nice, sounds very promising. And yeah Geoff I thought a couple of those names were familiar, thanks :-)
