  5. They are about to release 'Karmalion' in the near future and featuring guests like Jimi Jamison, Mark Spiro, Tim Pierce and Michael Thompson, this should be a good one. From their webiste: 'Indigo Balboa and Paco Cerezo began to work together in 2008 , they're the founders of the band INDICCO. From the begining they felt the affinity to work together and start on compositions. Indigo came to work with the well know musician Mark Spiro in California and Paco Cerezo just left his band "91 Suite" He was the guitar player and original member of the band. Paco Cerezo and Indigo Balboa start recording demos and feel that the melodies keeps the feeling of the golden age of the melodic rock but with a renovated sound with fresh air, without falling into the obsolete sound, with easy melodies and lyrics . "renovate or died!". It took over three years to finish the album "Karmalion".recorded in english and spanish. They wanted the best production possible with great collaborations on the record, and they got it! Jimi Jamison,( Survivor) one of the best singers that you ever heard , singin' with Indigo on lead vocals, Mark Spiro ( Aerosmith, Bad English, John Waite) on backing vocals ,and production,Tim Pierce and Michael Thompson on aditional guitars. About the rest of the musicians, they have to Antonio Muñoz (ex-91 Suite) on bass Lean Martinez (ex-91 Suite) on drums and Angel Valdegrama on keys. The album has been recorded in english and spanish Produced by Indigo Balboa, Paco Cerezo and Mark Spiro. His first single "Wrong" will be on stores from 26th of May. but we have to wait to enjoy the "Karmalion" album from INDICCO because at the moment they are in talks with the record labels.' 21. I thought the same thing, very little response. You don't like the voice? I think it's really good. The other voice on the second video is Marco Hietala of Nightwish/Tarot/Northern Kings fame. You might try the link at the end of the review (from www.seaoftranquility.org). I think it may be 14€ (incl. postage). Maybe they will ship to UK as well. 'Love vintage Rainbow, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, and Uriah Heep? Well, then you need to be sure to check out this new release from Finnish band Conquest, titled The Harvest. Originally formed in Helsinki back in 1997, the band released their debut Worlds Apart in 1999, but many line-up changes (at one time Nightwish bassist Marco Hietala was also in the band) eventually led to the breakup of the group. Vocalist Peter James Goodman put Conquest back together in 2011, assembling Janne Laviranta (Bass), Ville Siuruainen (Drums), Kasperi Heikkinen (Guitars), and Tuomas Seppälä (Keyboards, Guitars ) to round out the line-up, using song both old and new to complete The Harvest. The album is well played & written old school melodic hard rock and heavy metal, with Goodman's Bruce Dickinson inspired vocals leading the charge over heavy riffs, blazing guitar solos, driving keyboards, and tight rhythms. "Primitive" sounds like a long lost track from Rainbow's Rising period, complete with virtuoso guitar & keyboard duels, majestic melodies, and powerful vocals. "Red Horizon" has those galloping Maiden styled rhythms, and "Touch of Danger" contains some haunting melodies and beefy guitar & keyboard riffs that wouldn't be out of place on any classic or recent Uriah Heep release. The title track is a great emotional & moody slice of hard rock/metal, complete with a tasty guitar solo from Heikkinen, while "Wings of Death" again brings to mind Dio-era Rainbow thanks to some gothic tinged neo-classical melodies and a medieval flair. "Vanishing" is a nice little melodic piece, similar to Heep's more acoustic based material, and the upbeat, heavy rock of "Rock the Roof Off" is a must for Deep Purple/Rainbow fans, chock full of catchy melodies, sizzling riffs, and tasty keys. For a great slice of symphonic, melodic hard rock, you can't go wrong with "Drifting in the Dark", which features a powerful vocal from Goodman, and the lush ballad "Armageddon" has a sizzling guitar solo from Seppala. The CD contains a vibrant bonus track, called "A Night in the Cold World", a real enjoyable melodic rocker dripping with majestic keyboards, potent riffs, and fantastic vocal harmonies. Featuring a few guest spots from Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Tuomo Lassila (ex-Stratovarius), Pate Kivinen (ex-Hanoi Rocks), and Alexander Kuoppala (ex-Children of Bodom), The Harvest is very close to being an all-star affair. Filled with memorable melodies and arrangements that pay homage to some of the great hard rock & heavy metal bands of the '70s & '80s, Conquest have put together a stellar CD here that heavy rock fans will want to seek out.' For purchasing information-the CD price is $18 including shipping to USA ONLY by PayPal to Sammyj1968@gmail.com
  22. This sound really good in places, death metal vocals mixed with normal vocals. They are working on their debut album and that is the idea of the project, to have different singers on each track. You would think this idea is not worth the time but I think it's bloody rocking stuff! First video 'Unrepentant' features the voice of Thomas Vikström (Therion, Talk Of The Town, Candlemass, Brazen Abbot) and Stefan Jernståhl (good first name ): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4d_javhmA8 'Wish You Were Here' features Susie Päivärinta (Swedish pop icon) and Olle Ekman (Deals Death): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3pvRYavlDc&feature=relmfu Last one, 'I'm Gone', features Linda Varg (Swedish Idol 2010) and Henrik Englund (Scarpoint): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5_2zNQuBnE&feature=relmfu
