  2. From FB: This band emerged in late 2022 and this is their third single from album set to be released next year 2024. Where many have failed Transatlantic Radio have manage to capture the essence of the 80's without sounding outdated, still fresch and vital into this century. This song is for fans of Stage Dolls & TNT, great hook with a feelgood vibe. I for one LOVE this and think you should do as well, I've been humming it since first play a few weeks ago (now that is a good sign eh?). "Against All The Odds” has more guitars, more background vocals, more modulations and more romance novel AOR than you can shake a stick at, because in the words of the great Yngwie Malmsteen “more is more!!” Well you be the judge, next week it will hit us like a brick wall.
  3. New song 'Against All The Odds'.
  4. New video for 'In The H.E.A.T. Of The Nite'.

  6. From Frontiers: LALU is a musical project originally founded in 2004 by the French composer and producer Vivien Lalu, son of Noelle and Michel Lalu (members of the ‘70s French progressive act Polène). ‘The Fish Who Wanted to be King’ is the second album, and fourth album overall from the band, released under the partnership between Vivien and Frontiers and is creatively and production-wise a major step forward if compared to the previous albums. Musically this album sees a contemporary approach to a Progressive Rock thread which was mostly developed during the 80’s and that now has developed also after the explosion of Progressive Metal. With a lin-up that now is stronger and more cohesive that ever, again with singer Damian Wilson (ex-Threshold and regular collaborator of Arjen Lucassen), Joop Wolters on guitar and bass, Jelly Cardarelli on drums and sharing keyboard duties with Matt Daniel, Vivien Lalu managed to create a fabulous final product, boasting over fifty minutes of exceptional, massive cinematic and atmospheric Progressive music! Technically flawless, and emotionally touching “The Fish Who Wanted to be King” has a story to tell and asks to be enjoyed quietly and with love from passionate listeners! Tracklisting: 1. Forever Digital 2. The Fish Who Wanted To Be King 3. Deoxyribonucleic Acid 4. Is That A London Number 5. Amnesia 1916 6. A Reversal Of Fortune 7. 7. New video for 'Still Alive'. From Frontiers: Former Gypsy Rose and Dogface guitarist Martin Kronlund launches his new musical venture, KINGS CROWN: a musical alliance featuring the powerhouse british vocalist Lee Small (SHY, Phenomena, Sweet) along with Anders Skoog on keyboards, Berra Holmgren on bass and Pontus Engborg (Glenn Hughes) on drums. KINGS CROWN were formed in 2021 in Goteborg, Sweden and the plan was to create a strong sound combining bluesy 1970s hard rock (think Deep Purple, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Rainbow), with the Swedish melodic hard rock of the 1980s. Thanks to Kronlund strong experience in songwriting and production they managed to craft an exciting set of songs that were topped and completed with the terrific vocals of Lee Small, who truly shines with his exquisite of clean vocal range. The end result – great melodic hard rock with some rather tasty Hammond organs among all the guitars – is an exciting affair for all the lovers of the classic melodic hard rock sound and offers a truly enjoyable and entertaining listening experience. KINGS CROWN debut album “Closer To The Truth” certainly marks another excellent release from the increasingly prolific Swedish hard rock scene and will reward the listener with a discovery that definitely deserves credit. 9. New video for 'Trinity'. From Frontiers: Famed Danish hard rock singer/songwriter Ronnie Atkins (of Pretty Maids) announces the upcoming release of his third full length studio album aptly entitled, “Trinity”. Since Ronnie was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in 2019, he has not lost a second of his precious time which was spent composing and recording two very successful releases “Make it Count” and the debut “One Shot”, both very much acclaimed by critics and fans alike. He has also recently resumed live shows in Europe with his own band and with the Avantasia project all over the world. Later this year he plans to hit the road again in support of the new album. “I guess I have a different perspective on life these days than I had 4 years ago and I embrace everyday with all that goes with it,” says Ronnie. “Let me add to this that working which in my case is writing songs and performing on stage is what keeps me going I guess. I like to focus on the positive aspects of life and indulge myself in things that I really wanna do by heart.” “I think the album might have turned out a bit heavier than the previous ones, since most of the songs were written on guitar this time, but above all it’s still very melodic,” continues Atkins. “Lyrically it’s pretty much about what’s going on in the world today and that’s what inspires me. A lot of the songs are pretty personal too and I’m trying to squeeze in a bit of optimism into it as well.” A winning team should not be changed, so once again the album was produced by Chris Laney with Jacob Hansen taking care of the mix and the mastering. 'To me a good song is a good hook/topline and that’s pretty much what paves the way for the end result,” concludes Ronnie Atkins, explaining “it’s a damn good solid melodic hard rock album. I’m very happy about the final result. I hope the fans will embrace the new album and that I’ll be able to take these songs on the road. That’s my plan!” Since the start of his rock‘n roll journey with Pretty Maids, Ronnie Atkins has consistently gifted fans with quality, melodic rock and “Trinity” delivers again in spades! Tracklisting: 1. Trinity 2. Ode To A Madman 3. Paper Tiger 4. Soul Divine 5. Via Dolorosa 6. Godless 7. Shine 8. If You Can Dream It 9. Sister Sinister 10. Raining Fire 11. The Unwanted 12.
