  2. From FB: Hey… what are you looking for? We know… and here it is! May 28:th the first part of the Quarantine Sessions is here…our acoustic version of NEVER ALONE AGAIN.
  3. From AOR Heaven: Big Guns was formed in 1985 as a direct follow up to the record “KICKS” by Stephen Crane (MCA 1984). Due to Irving Azoff’s departure and the ensuing shake up at MCA that year, KICKS was left without any marketing or promotional funds and was basically ‘Dead on Arrival’ and did not chart. Although, interestingly enough, the record has subsequently been re-released two times in Europe and has received rave reviews! As a result of MCA’s inability to promote the album and band, Stephen Crane and Duane Sciacqua continued their quest to write and record new songs that were, and still are relevant in the world of Rock! Joined by then band member, Johnny Burnett (RIP), Crane and Sciacqua soon enlisted fellow band mates Paul Daniel (drums), and Matt MacKelvie (guitars, keys, vocals) and created “BIG GUNS”. They began a series of recordings with engineer Brett Gurewitz at his Hollywood studio. Crane and Sciacqua wrote, or co-wrote, and produced the songs that would become their self-titled album “BIG GUNS”. The band became a staple playing around Hollywood at the ROXY, FM Station, and other well-known rock venues. They received label interest but could never reach an amicable agreement and their search waned … players moved on, lives changed and BIG GUNS faded into the Rock n Roll sunset… Many years later as good fortune would have it, the once forgotten Stephen Crane album (KICKS) received its popular acclaim, and the search for the long forgotten tapes was on. Georg Siegl at AOR Heaven, sought out guitarist Sciacqua for material, and the re-emergence of BIG GUNS was underway. After searching through the archives of years past, Sciacqua found the missing BIG GUNS tapes and through careful remastering and some re-recording was able to render the 10 tracks that make up the album. This project stands as a monument to the songwriters, the singers and the players who dedicated their time and talents to comprise their self-titled album “BIG GUNS”. Track List: 1. Gangland 2. 9. I don't know why the video has been taken down but maybe this is the reason: From Frontiers: Frontiers Music Srl is excited to announce the signing of Sweden’s FANS OF THE DARK to the label for a multi album deal. Fans of the Dark is an exciting new band formed in the summer of 2020 by Freddie Allen, drummer and main songwriter, and lead vocalist Alex Falk. The pair went to high school together in Stockholm and after a few years reconnected recently with a vision to create a band which would mix the melodies and approach of classic and melodic rock with elements of the great metal music of the ’80s. The final result is one of the most exciting things you’ll hear emerging from the fruitful melodic rock scene in Sweden, showcasing a tight, inventive musical approach with outstanding vocals. ”I had written an album basically on my own during the pandemic,” says Freddie. ”But I had Alex in mind all the time and I knew that he wanted to do this. His voice is just an absolute monster and I thought it would be interesting to hear that voice singing on top of some really great songs driven by guitars, bass, and drums. That was the start of it.” The last two pieces of the puzzle to complete the band’s lineup were Robert Majd (Captain Black Beard, Metalite, Nighthawk) who came in on bass and Oscar Bromvall (Palace, Code Red) on guitar. Mixing and mastering was handled by Mike Palace (Palace, Kent Hilli). ”Now, all we want to do is record more albums and in the future play these songs in front of a live audience and really put on a show,” says Freddie. ”I have confidence in the material, and in our abilities as songwriters and performers. 2020 was the worst year in the recent human history, 2021 has already been a lot more hopeful, and I know that 2022 is going to be even better. So, bring it on!” The label looks set to unleash this beast of a band very soon. Get ready for a fantastic ride!

  14. New song 'Destiny Calling'. From Frontiers: Mayank is a new melodic rock band centered around Brazilian vocalist Gui Oliver, who is joined by Swedish guitarist Rolf Nordström (Perfect Plan), keyboardist/producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, and drummer Nicholas Papapicco. Their self-titled debut album is out August 6, 2021. "I was really inspired by the songs Ale [Alessandro Del Vecchio] sent me for this album. I wrote the melodies and the lyrics around them. The ideas came so naturally, like they were already in my mind and heart. Especially some lyrics that are a kind of redemption to me. My musical background is the classic bands such as Strangeways, Giant, FM, Signal, Survivor, and Journey and I think you can hear that in these songs," says Gui Oliver. Of the first single, Gui adds, "'Destiny Calling' was the last song I recorded for the album. As Ale said to me once, destiny was calling us to make this album together. We needed one more song to complete the album and he came with this great piece of art. I believe this song is about fate and the moment you realize the meaning of your life and how we must be thankful for being here and how it is important to support and help people out there." Frontiers President Serafino Perugino, who signed Gui’s band Auras back in 2010, has long admired the Brazilian vocalist’s talents and wanted to give him another platform to showcase his amazing melodic rock vocals. Thus, Mayank was born with the intent to build a group with amazing talents from the melodic rock scene who are all on the same wavelength musically and would come together seamlessly as a musical unit. The name Gui Oliver is certainly a familiar one to melodic rock connoisseurs. In 2010, fans first got to know his soaring vocals through AURAS' debut album "New Generation". Gui’s voice, resembling such giants as Steve Perry, Jimi Jamison, and Mickey Thomas, immediately put him in the spotlight after the release of said debut. Unfortunately, the group disbanded after releasing their lone album and playing a few shows in their home country, Brazil (including support gigs for Jeff Scott Soto and Jimi Jamison). Gui however later on joined Landfall, another great Brazilian melodic hard rock act, who soon found their way to the Frontiers label. Landfall was put to Frontiers attention by producer Alessandro Del Vecchio, who had developed a strong friendship with the band. Landfall would go on to release their debut album, "The Turning Point" via Frontiers in 2020. Because of the friendship between Del Vecchio and Landfall, Ale and Gui started to exchange musical ideas and make plans to do a record together. The pandemic lockdowns and quarantines of 2020 became the perfect time for the two to work together on a record. A very special addition to the album comes in the form of Rolf Nordström of Sweden's Perfect Plan, who joined the fold to bring his excellent guitar skills to the music. The result is the debut album from Mayank, "We Are One," a culmination of hard work and passionate musical output between Gui, Ale, and an amazing team of musicians and songwriters. If you are a serious melodic rock fan, then you cannot miss this! Tracklist: 1. Destiny Calling 2. Billy Is On The Run 3. Miracle Mile 4. We Are One 5. Long Live The Soulless 6. Julia's Smile 7. Sign Of Love 8. Hold On 9. From The Heart 10. Eternal Dream 11. Road To Paradise Line-up: Gui Oliver - vocals Rolf Nordstorm - guitars Alessandro Del Vecchio - bass, keyboards, backing vocals Nicholas Papapicco - drums www.facebook.com/MayankGuiOliver
  15. From Frontiers: Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of a new AOR band from Norway, ZELBO to the label for a multi-album deal. Musically the band plays an excellent and varied AOR style, which draws influences from the giants of the scene and adds a healthy dose of Scandinavian influences (especially DaVinci of course, but also Stage Dolls, Europe, and Treat). ”We are very excited to sign with a great record company like Frontiers Music,” says band mastermind Dag Selboskar. ”We’re really proud to be a part of their AOR family”. Zelbo was put together in 2018 by keyboard player Dag Selboskar (DaVinci, Street Legal) together with guitarist Ken Ingwersen (Wonderworld, Ken Hensley, ex-Street Legal). The two then completed the band’s lineup with young rising vocal star Frode Vassel from Bergen, NO (who recently appeared on the TV show The Voice Norway) and the brilliant Sturla Nøstvik on drums. The band is currently working on the post production of their debut album and the label tentatively plans to release it in the fall/winter of 2021. www.facebook.com/ZELBOtheBAND Teaser: www.facebook.com/ZELBOtheBAND/videos/188285206401368
  16. Premiere for the new single 'We Go Together' in a few days. Press release from Frontiers: Cruzh are back with a new vocalist, Alex Waghorn, and a new album, “Tropical Thunder”, which will be released on August 6, 2021 via Frontiers Music Srl. "Overall we wanted more edge, more attitude, simply more rock n’ roll compared to our first album. The songs on ‘Tropical Thunder’ definitely give a more true picture of what Cruzh is all about. We’ve had some time to write new material and get back to our roots since 2016, so I’d say that the writing process went smoothly. I was kind of sceptical though prior to our mixing sessions, which had to be done Covid-safe, which meant that Alex, who lives in the same city as our producer Erik Wiss could attend, but the rest of us had to send mixes and comments back and forth. However, the end result turned out awesome anyway and we made the best of the situation," says guitarist Anton Joensson. Of the first single, 'We Go Together', bassist Dennis Butabi Borg adds, "It’s a song about the past and the future. The lyrics are actually based on my childhood or early teenage years growing up in a small suburban village in southern Sweden. It is about the carefree and exciting moments you had as a kid, when school breaks seemed so long that you thought they’d never end, and the only thing that mattered for the day was the adventures and escapades you experienced with your best buddies on a warm summer’s night. I’m talking about the feeling of invincibility and strength of never-ending friendship. I think the theme of the song merges perfectly with the music. The native touch in the intro really fetches the feeling of wildlife and urge for excursion and when the chorus kicks in, who knows, you might wanna go hiking. Listen, and forget the sometimes troubled reality for a while. Take a trip down memory lane. This song is for all of you. It’s for all of us. We are forever. We Go Together." Alex Waghorn was first introduced to Cruzh fans in 2019 with the release of an acoustic version of the song “Aim For The Head”. Now, Waghorn, along with Dennis Butabi Borg, Anton Joensson, and Matt Silver, are at long last ready to unleash the band’s long-awaited second album. Melodic rock fans will not be disappointed with the cavalcade of melodies, hooks, and catchy songs on display on “Tropical Thunder”. Cruzh was put together in 2013 after the demise of Swedish glam rockers TrashQueen in which both Anton and Butabi played. The band spent their first years releasing some very well-received self-produced demos. “Hard To Get” and its successor, the darker “Aim For The Head,” got great reviews and by late spring of 2015, just when Cruzh was about to release a new EP, they were approached by Frontiers Music Srl who wanted to sign the band to a deal. Cruzh started the album recording process by the end of summer 2015 and their self-titled debut was released in 2016 to rave reviews from the melodic rock community. After introducing new vocalist Alex Waghorn to the public via an acoustic version of their track ‘Aim For The Head’ in 2019, the band spent 2020 working on their second album, “Tropical Thunder”. Now, in 2021, the long wait for a follow-up album from Cruzh is over. Tracklist: 1. Tropical Thunder 2. We Go Together 3. Turn Back Time 4. Are You Ready? 5. Cady 6. New York Nights 7. All You Need 8. Line In The Sand 9. Moonshine Bayou 10. Paralyzed 11. N.R.J.C. Line-up: Alex Waghorn: lead & backing vocals Anton Joensson: lead & rhythm guitars, acoustic guitars, backing vocals Dennis Butabi Borg: bass, backing vocals Matt Silver: drums & percussion, backing vocals +Erik Wiss: keyboards & piano www.facebook.com/cruzhofficial
