  1. No Testament poll yet but that's a good idea too! I'll have to get to that one later as well...
  2. Hey Freddy I think it's time for a Jag Panzer poll. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good idea, Heaven & Hell! Watch this space cuz I'll whip one up when I have a minute (unless you want to take that one?)
  3. ...if you've had a crush on Sarah Jessica Parker since "Square Pegs"
  4. Personally, I felt "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo" was FAR superior to the original "Breakin." The performance by Shabba-Doo was positively awe inspiring!! (Sarcasm light is "ON" in case you couldn't tell, folks)
  5. Glorious Burden and Something Wicked are now tied at SIX votes apiece! This is turning into a real horse race, folks!!
  6. I still have my beer can collection! Thinkin' about eBaying it though... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still have about 100....some of the cooler ones. Hell, I thought having the Billy Beer can nowadays would be worth something. Checked on eBay and it looks like it hasn't appreciated much since the mid 70's!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have a J.R. Ewing beer can (made to capitalize on the "Who Shot J.R." craze) and I don't think that's worth a heck of a lot either... I'd probably have to eBay the whole bunch of'em (there are about 200) in a huge lot to make any $$ off of 'em. Oh well. I had lots of fun emptying most of them anyway
  7. Right now: Warrant -- ULTRAPHOBIC Just finished: Probot - S/T
  8. Halle-LOO-Jah Brutha Geoff I have seen the light and its name is Danni! I shall spread her word here in the states And I shall sing her praises forever more! Amen!
  9. I still have my beer can collection! Thinkin' about eBaying it though...
  10. You remember that Star Wars cards came in five different series with different color borders: blue, red, yellow, orange, and green. (I'm not 100% sure but I think that's the correct order they were released in, too!)
  11. >>>This may surprise some, but I don't rate Kylie Minogue. Yeah... just not into the whole package. Her sister, Danni is my pick of the two. She's had implants and has a very impressive rack, she's younger and IMO just better looking. But hey, that's just me. This Yankee was not even aware that Kylie HAD a sister. Could you possibly enlighten us with some photographic evidence of her hotness?
  12. WEIRD SCIENCE IS THE GREATEST MOVIE OF THE 80s Second, of course, is Howard the Duck. (Note my signature!)
  13. I once had a beer from Australia called "Flying Dog Doggy-Style Pale Ale" (I swear I am not making that up.) Needless to say, with a name like that I HAD to try it... it was pretty damn good too. Better than Fosters any day. Would THAT be Australian for Beer?
  14. >>>No, Fosters is not really Australian for 'Beer'. Fosters is Australian for 'urine'. Okay, Geoff, then what IS Australian for "Beer?" Inquiring beer-drinking minds want to know.
  15. ...If you can name more than ten of the "Smurfs"
  16. Hmmm... good idea Dan, he sounds like a wack job... must be something in the cheese out there in Wisconsin
  17. Sounds to me like you should delete, ignore, destroy this guy's e-mail address (after you've told him to quit bothering you of course!)
  18. Hell yea, Michael Denner and Hank Shermann are one of THE great (and under-appreciated) guitar teams in metal in my book anyway...they should be up there with Tipton/Downing and Smith/Murray if the world were fair... And I agree, King's voice IS definitely an acquired taste... he's certainly not for everybody!
  19. Wow... obviously I'm in the minority on this one. Oh well.... I think the constant concept-albums from King Diamond are what really keeps me from truly enjoying his solo material... except for a few exceptions, concept/story albums kinda bore me. I used to have everything of King's up till "The Eye" on cassette and it dawned on me that I never EVER listened to anything past "Abigail" anyway so I shit-canned the old tapes, got the Roadrunner Records "2 From The Vault" Re-issue of King's "Fatal Portrait/Abigail," and therefore I'm set on King's stuff for the rest of my life. On the other hand, I'm still missing the last two MF albums ("Dead Again" and "9") but they're on my shopping list. I saw MF on the "In The Shadows" tour in NYC in 1993 (on Halloween night, no less... is that not the PERFECT night for a Mercyful Fate show?) and it was one of the coolest concerts I've ever been to... the band, the night, the vibe, everything worked.
  20. SCHWING! Yes, I've seen this girl in Australia tourism ads here in the U.S. -- makes me want to jump on the first flight there!!
  21. That's me!!! But I come from 1979. Almost there. (and it was called a Mega Drive here). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still play Sega Genesis too Geoff! They can have my Ms Pac-Man cartridge when they pry it from my cold dead fingers!! Which reminds me... you might be from the 80s if... You ever owned a Pac-Man t-shirt or baseball cap (I had both)
  22. You still own and play an Atari 2600, ColecoVision, or Sega Genesis!
  23. I've had more arguments with my metal friends about the above topic. Some of my friends like Mercyful Fate and King Diamond equally, some think KD's solo stuff is better, but I personally have always liked Mercyful Fate better than the King's solo material. Thus, I figured I'd throw it out there for the masses to decide. Much of KD's solo stuff (post-ABIGAIL) just doesn't do much for me, whereas MF's material still gives me chills every time I listen to it. I dont' think the King sounds right without Hank Sherman and Michael Denner backing him up on guitars. Anyone else just doesn't cut it. Your thoughts?
