  1. No matter how hard her dad exploits her, from day one, I've noticed something other then her ginormous tits, she probably has one of the best heads in the business, and by far in her family, and even know this whole divorce P.R. move is going to go bad, she can't fool real people with the stupid blonde routine, and I think I have my first crush since Alicia Silverstone in 94, Brookes roomate Ashlee, oh god, she's smart, hot, oh fuck, I hope she does porn, or at least does something stupid that accidently gets posted on the internet!
  2. Those of u that have little kids, pbs started running the new Electric Company series last week, I'm impressed, as with the original which spawned Denzel Washington, and featured Morgan Freeman and Bill Cosby, the new version is TOP!!! production, and they've really found good actors for it, I really enjoy watching it, wish I could say the samefor a lot of the other PBS shows, great for kids, not really for adults as well.
  3. the untolarable and disturbing thing about the bulk of the bands on this poll, outside of Helmet, Faith No More, and in a way Lordi, these are all bands that arent really all that original! they don't play anything that really sticks(unless you put a handle on it)no cool guitar riffs, nothing musically that makes me think Wow! I like that just for the shear balls it took to do it! No bridges or breaks in the songs where you go from "this is Ok, to Fuck!!!! this fucking kicks my ass" fuck they can't even step out for a second, they all wanna be so hard and heavy, and loud, but it's an oxi moron, they are all working for big labels, I know Geoff we love the most repetitive standard by the book kind of music ever made, but you know what, I wasnt drawn to it because I was growing up with it, the songs in hair metal and like genres, had feeling and musicianship, and solos, you can recycle that till the earth is gone, and it's a recipiet for great music, Im always searching for new bands, so the argument that I just don't like this era's music cause I dont relate to it, is rubbish, when one of these American bands steps out of the labels shadow, and puts out an album with some sort of musical integrity behind it, I will be all ears, but that hasnt happened since the 2nd greatest guitar player of our time(In My Opinion) was taken from us, I could overlook Damageplans mediocre and largely generic vocals, for the shear fact the music was so great, Michael Bolton could have done vocals, and it wouldnt have mattered, just my opinion man!
  4. I wouldnt even know who this chick was if it werent for my beautiful little brat daughter, who some how managed to get a concert ticket to Taylors concert out of her daddy, even though she was grounded, I really sat and thought after that concert, Country is really the only kind of music I would take my daughter to see live(though she's going to see The Tubes on the 25th) I bet she's gonna be absolutely thrilled about that! but my first concert was Loudness & Y&T when I was 5, it was wild, but I mean, my mom wasnt worried about my safety, and in cetain settings violence is the unspoken purchase of the ticket(i.e. Slayer, Superjoint Ritual, Transport League) but this Taylor, was acknowledging her tiny little 4 and 5 year old fans, talking in terms they could relate to while not totally alienating parents and teenage fans doing it, alot of bands do great to excellent kick ass shows, but I havent really been to a concert with a artist who went the extra mile for their fans, since I first saw Jani Lane single handidly show Ratt up in 1999, it's not just showmanship, it's something else, and im not really sure how to explain any better, but for a 18 year old female country artist, this girl has something special, and im being totally serious, aside from tit's and leg's and how hot she is, you watch, I don't wanna say she's gonna change music, but she has something about her that's not the norm. anyways, from a pure performance aspect, it was the worth the incredibly low ticket price of $25, another Country music trend ive noticed, good prices, she is a born performer, and I don't believe her albums do her a bit of justice, they almost do her harm, she should have dropped a S\T Debut Live album, but enough about it, you wont be walking away angry or let down leaving her concert, and im on here ranting and raving, I guess it's just nice to know a little bit of musical talent exsists in America.
  5. And this interview scares the Jesus Christ out of me, they failed to mention during this conversion, the biggest part of it, the booting of the shitbag guitar player that wrote the bulk of the horrific first Damone disc, and the addition of a 1980's looking hairdog guitar pounder with no remorse for firing up and down the frets with distortion as distorted as distorted gets!!!! this is turn made the rest of the band step it up a level, and any of you who have made the mistake of even listening to the first Damone disc, you guys I know can tell. When bands wanna break ways with the style that they found success with, in my book 8/10 times you can kiss goodbye to the style you loved, at least until 5 releases later when they discover the new shit is starting to cost the band money, instead of making it for them, then they will have the famous Metallica made "return to the oldschool style" album that we were all so heavily impressed with on St.Anger(sarcasm), so Im going to try and not get to excited, I don't even wanna listen to the samples, I'll just wait till it comes out.
  6. No they didn't release any cds since Out Here All Night, according to 3 music stores, so I don't know how u guys got the inside hook up, you'll have to make me a member.
  7. no Geoff, that was a stunt singer, I just hate not being right, so I had to improvise, I was listening to Gods Gift To Women, thought ill just say he's black in hopes that nobody would notice, then tossed it out there! knowing damn well who most likely would pick up on it???
  8. A brother of Jeff, or another son of Lloyd? im not familiar with a Todd Bridges, but who is when your brothers as good as Jeff!!!
  9. We did! Has noone else checked these out? I guess not, im pretty sure there was more then just you that wanted it? I could be trippin, Geoff, you dabbled in Taylor yet? some very catchy, simple, stuck in your head all week songs awaiting you by miss Swift! I mean, let's be real, Bang, Bang is my permanent song, like the guy who's had hiccups for something like 35 years, I too have a song burned into my very existince, that of course is Bang, Bang, and ive accepted that it's a blessing that a song would be permenantly stuck in my head, that's that good, it could have just as easily been a Michael Bolton tune, or something by Bread! but Picture To Burn and Our Song by Taylor have recently started a rotation between bang bang, I even found myself singing along to Picture To Burn at the concert, of course I stopped the second I realised I was doing it(well, I kind of stopped), but people, this is a good fucking concert, not the one I went to, the Taylor & Def Leppard concert, I don't believe im biased in anyway, they just sound kick ass, and it is worth downloading the mp3's, with the artwork Phaffas designed, and giving it a listen, really!
  10. Damone have a new album out now. Get the fuck out of here! NO SHIT! Im going to FYE right this second, that's the one thing I miss, living here in America, it seems like decades ago since I could just jump in the car and run to a music store to actually purchase a cd for myself! I have $19.92 left in my whole estate, and Friday may as well be 10 years away, if I go spend $16+ on a cd, very irresponsible, and not a very bright move in the least, but I'll post the second I get home, if any of you give a fuck or not!
  11. I forgot I had a heated debate(mostly in my own head) about Helmet, yes Geoff, when one would have to describe Helmet, Melodic!!! is absolutely NOT!!!! a term that would come up anywhere in the conversation, here's the thing about Helmet, I never blinked an eye at them, they were one of those bands that I passed off as well, Shit, not only had I not heard them, I would tell people I had just so I could argue with them about how bad they sucked. I do a little bit of recording for some local bands around the city I live in, and one of them was jamming before we started, and they played this song, and it was like something I hadnt ever heard, I mean it was so obvious that I just asked who it was, I knew it wasnt one of their songs, but it was Helmet, the song was called Pure, I went straight to Media Play and bought Strap It On, Meantime, Betty, and the new at the time Aftertaste, which is the album Pure is on, I put Strap It On in and don't think I made it through song 1, I noticed that Helmet drastically improves with each album, they arent really any certain genre, because they play a post alternative "type" music, but they dont play post alternative stuff! understand, they are way way way, technical! Hamilton is literally a genius, he has Doctor Degrees in Theory, and a plethora of different guitar styles, his main being Jazz, I mean they arent like my favorite band, but as far as bands playing tight, they have to be in the top 3, EVER!!! and Hamilton has some outrageous, and sometimes extremely odd! hooks, but boring is definitly not the definition somebody that has heard Helmets music could ever give them as a label!! If you must check it out, start with Betty! and Geoff, I don't like EMO, I fucking loathe it, Im a Wham fan till I take my last breath, you know that.
  12. I do the same ritual as Geoff, only im not as "gifted" as Geoff, I have to either run a line of duct tape around my waste, or just wear the sock on my foot, and bypass the whole implied covering up routine! but welcome, I noticed Thompson Twins, and Wham are suspiciously missing off your list??? care to explain?
  13. hey, just getting blacks to play an instrument anymores like trying to get the american record industry to sign a band that doesnt slap their hands against their chests and slobber when they talk! back in the 70's the brothas put out a decade of what I consider to be some of the greatest MUSIC!!! ever played, and that's the 70's Funk!! While never being a race of humans that believed in having anything easy, or handed to them, they took the next natural step in the evolutionary cycle, they decided to just play with record players, and rip off all their talented for-father musicians! but here are a few MUSICIANS!! I could think of. There have been a lot of black rock bands, I think the whole hair metal part of the question kind of loads the question! theres Vernon Reid, and Cory Glover, the two frontman in Living Colour, Bad Brains, Fishbone, Black Sunday, nobody remembers the alternative\metal band Remy Zero? Danko Jones, I believe he's canadian and he can put together an intense song! who can forget the black irishman? Mr. Lynott, rock and metal black guitarists, Rocky George(Suicidle Tendencies), Tony Macalpine, Tom Morrello's a milato, the punk band Death were all blacks! and probably the best black fronted group out of any and all of them was Orange 9mm! and as far as black hair metal\aor singers, theirs some, like what about Conny Lind? huh, and Axl Rose may as well be black! he acts just like one those colored folk!! as does Gene Simmons, so well take Morrello, and Skins, as well as Rocky George in exchange for those 2.
  14. Theyve been playing the hell out of them on the Tourbus, Im starting to wonder if one of the fucking jocks on the tourbus has a relative, lover, or other in the fucking band, it was pretty cool, but they need to start playing a different song, jesus fucking christ, they played song 3, I think thats the one about meeting some dude, in the middle of summer, and fucking every second they had together!(paraphrasing) anyways they played it twice last saturday! it's only a weekly 3 hour show! anyways, my opinon, mediocre band, absolutely BRILLIANT band!! as far as anything coming out in the usa, but I actually think that last Damone cd rocked harder then this, Ive become quit partial to it anyways! hope Damone does something new soon!
  15. looks great sounds great, we did an awsome job!
  16. he's got one of the most irritating voices ive ever heard, plus he's one of the Labron and Kobe head givers! I'll stick with Kevin Harline and Doug Collins any day.
  17. and you know what, I have about 10 more albums and Manilla Road was on the other list, that was a great album wasnt it?
  18. this ones easy, Pale Rider, followed by Lust In The Dust!
  19. I did pioneering thrash albums, hows about the best thrash debut album of all time, I tried to do my homework, and be as accurate as possible, so I didnt leave your favorite thrash debut album out, as there are so many awesome debuts, I of course took Venom, but it was a close second with the little known, little heard masterpiece, Oliver Magnum.
  20. Here is what it is, Jeff Van Gundy is the most irritating fuck head wannabe announcer since Jerry Glanville attempted his irritating try at it, these are both prime examples of shitbag sorry ass announcers, I don't know who Van Gundy had to blow to get his spot, but hopefully somebody will re hire him as a coach next year, so Espn NBA telecasts will be watchable again!
  21. Honestly mate, I probably wouldn't watch it. How about you sell that and give me the $55 instead? It'll be cheaper postage. I don't want to sell it, believe me, it's the last thing I want to sell, I just was coming up with a way for me to complete my Emerald Rain collection, and let you get a cheap way, to watch the greatest show ever on tv from the beginning pilot episode(which is the most mindblowing pilot ever made), The Shield aint going nowhere outside of that, Plus!!! EVERYBODY, THE SHIELD'S FINAL SEASON DVD SET WILL BE RELEASED ON JUNE 09th!! Plus you never said anything about selling it, you told me it was in your trade pile! in my vocabulary, those are 2 totally different piles of cd's! so if you will sell it, i'll put the check, cash, or money order in the mail a week from tomorrow, email me how much you want for it, seriously, as soon as you read this.
