Have I told you lately Jim that I love you? I bought two of Sam's products...Rock Boulevard, and Friction...and while not being silver pressed the quality of the art, sound, inserts, heatsealed label...everything... was excellent. I believe in my heart that Sam puts out a professional product. Nuff said. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The thing that irks me....is that people slag Sam's product WITHOUT even seeing it........ The connotation of the word CDR immediately turns some people off. Fine.....until you actually see the end product you have no clue what you are talking about..... As far as moving more units......not so sure fellas. I think YOU guys are in the minority......which is fine if that's what you like. But all Michael from Manilla Thrills has to do is talk to Retrospect about sales...and quantities and that whole argument will get thrown out the window..... And the bottom line is......if you've seen or have his product and don't like it....then don't buy it and you can tell the world how horrible it is. But until then.....you guys are just talkin' out of your ass....

Actually, through one of the members here, Malebolgia, the whole deal took place...... Choc........you may as well realise that Retrospect is legitimate. It will give yourself a whole heckuva lot less stress.....and you may actually pick up some cool music in the process. However......it's completely up to you if you.... Keep rockin'!!

OMG......we agree totally on something!!! Up through "Paid My Dues", it's soooooooooo good. Then kinda...........pfffffffffffffth. I love ballads......but "Without You" is just too...............blech. JLP, check out The Mob soundbytes on Melodicrock.com. Kip Winger produces and it sounds just like Winger but with the guy from Kings X singing... I decided to dig out my disc of unreleased Winger demos & play it. Dodgy sound quality, but some top quality music. I LOVE "Battle Stations" (from the Bill & Ted soundtrack).... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tim... Yep...I've listened to the Mob soundbytes and the music is great. The vox sucks!!! Too bad I couldn't have Kip overdub them onto those tunes!!!!!

I've been an athlete for most of my natural born life. I've played at a few different levels in football, baseball, bowling and just about any other sport you can think of....including washers, ping pong, lawn darts and anything that requires competitiveness!! Metal Jay....liked your story about Seau. I played against Bernie Kosar and a bunch of other professional athletes, but the best story is when we beat Boardman high school when Kosar was their senior all-american quarterback. We intercepted him no less than THREE times and went on to destroy his hopes of a championship season 25-9. In, that same year, I pitched against him in baseball.....but the bastard got the best of me and he went 1 for 1 against me...and they beat us 3-1. Oh......I was a sophomore that year.... You see....Kosar comes from a cushy suburb in Youngstown...and those kids, no matter how talented of a team they had, would always shit their pants when they had to play the kids from the other side of the tracks. They had fear in their eyes before a down was even played..........
