Diamante - Running up that hill

Not gonna lie, as a fan of Diamante I am kinda disapointed in this cover.

While the vocals are fine, it just does not feel that much different to the original and Kate's original vocals had a uniqueness and subtly that Dia's version lacks. Also musically, there is a lil more guitar, but barely, and pretty much sounds note for note the same.

Just a case of bandwagon jumping really, considering how popular this song is right now due to Stranger Things.

I don't hate this version, I just don't think it's necessary when you make no effort to make the song your own.

The only cover I think is worth your time is from Meg Myers.

Another cover, and while it is a lil bit heavier than the original, I do find it to be unecessary again. And same anoying "special effects".
