auslander
Circle of Soul don't get much love from hard rock fans. I think it is a pity. They played unashamed hard rock in an era when everyone was going grunge. Check out the title track of their second disc from 1993. It rocks and has plenty of attitude: Most of the songs have a sleazy feel, and wailing guitars. I dig the singer's classic 80s metal voice. Another great track that also demonstrates a tight rhythm section: I could only find this one upload on youtube. Goes to show how neglected this album was at the time, and even now. It seems no-one really knows about it. It is worth a revisit. Edited October 24, 2021 by auslander

Dead Planet
Decent stuff although I never picked up either of their releases...never was much into funky/soul type rock....
