Dwight Yoakam - A Thousand Miles From Nowhere “I’ve Got bruises on my memory…” Great song & great line from one of my favorite country artists (there aren’t many). -
That's good to know because that one was pretty lousy. A couple of good songs, the rest are skips for me.

Gave the new song a listen.... Decent song that does have a more classic feel to it, but overall I've had a hard time with their vocals since Austin left. I just constantly keep comparing this to their earlier stuff and for me it just pales in comparison. That said, still love their first few albums and Take It To The Limit is still one of my favorite more "modern" albums. -

I find the same thing. First listen, even the second or third before the songs start to catch on a bit. Surprisingly it's usually worth it, last few stryper albums have presented to me as being heavy unhooky and mundane to start with, but after a few listens they start to embed some grooves in my head and I start to really dig them. -
Bloody hell, that's a blast from the past. Can't even remember what I thought of the debut, it was that long ago. New song sounds pretty cool, though.
