Lillian Axe Demos with Ron Taylor

I had a friend online many moons ago who sent me 2 cdrs of Lillian Axe material. These two cdrs contained unreleased Lillian Axe demos with Ron Taylor on vocals. Most of the songs on disc 1 ended up being released with singer Derrick Lefevre on Waters Rising.

I just went to rip the two discs and neither one will read at all. My dvd drive revs up and just refuses to read both discs. These were some excellent tunes and now I can't listen to them anymore. I did several extensive searches online and I haven't found them anywhere.

So.... I was hoping somebody on this board might have gotten there hands on this at one point or another and might possibly still have these saved somewhere. I would be greatly appreciative to get these back. Anybody???

Here are the tracks that were on each disc. I especially want the stuff on the first disc:

Disc 1 - "Deep In The Black"

1. Until The End Of The World

2. The Fields Of Yesterday

3. Fear Of Time

4. I Have To Die, Goodbye

5. Quarantine

7. Anna Lee

8. Deep In The Black

9. The Second Of May

10. The Last Time

11. Mercy

12. Dyin' To Live

13. The Last Goodbye

14. Only You

Disc 2 - "Voices In My Walls"

1. Deepfreeze (demo)

2. The Second Of May (instrumental)

3. The Fields Of Yesterday (instrumental)

4. Show A Little Love (radio edit)

5. True Believer (acoustic)

6. No Matter What (acoustic)

7. Here Is Christmas (non-lp)

8. Throw You Away (Japan only)

I'd give my left nut to hear 'The Last Goodbye' tune again, freaking awesome song, horrid production but that is a song that deserves to be properly recorded.

I had that first demo you listed back in the late 90's or something similar to it. But like most cdr's I either lost them or threw them out because they stopped playing because of wear.

I did find that. I've uploaded it to YouTube.

Brought back some great memories. It had been at least 10 years since I heard it. It would have fit perfectly on the debut, Love & War or even Poetic Justice.

This is a bit awkward, though. Isn't it? So, what happens now? Who do you give your left nut to? And what if they don't want it?

I don't want it. You can have it Funk. :gone:

Nah, I'm good. I've already got a left nut. And a right one. I don't know what anyone would want with an extra?

Established in 2022 by the visionary frontman Aviroop Basu, the band's inception signaled the emergence of a musical force destined to captivate audiences worldwide. In December 2022, Fire In The Rodeo unveiled their maiden opus, the demo single "Back for More." This inaugural offering showcased their mastery over their chosen genres and provided a tantalizing glimpse into their musical prowess. Building upon the fervor ignited by their debut, the band resounded once again in July 2023 with their second single, "Ready To Fight." With this release, they cemented their status as a rising musical powerhouse, earning fervent accolades from aficionados and critics alike.   Fire In The Rodeo's artistic genesis draws inspiration from the illustrious lineage of Kix, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Motley Crue, among other luminaries. A defining hallmark of their artistry lies in their reverence for the 80s era of rock 'n' roll—a golden age that continues to resonate deeply within their musical ethos. By infusing modern nuances into this revered soundscape, Fire In The Rodeo conjures a distinctive auditory experience that marries the classic with the contemporary.   Their sonic tapestry is woven with roaring anthemic guitars, percussive rhythms that reverberate through the soul, and guitar riffs that scorch with undeniable intensity. Aviroop Basu's vocals ascend to extraordinary heights, delivering a high-octane performance that transcends musical boundaries. The band's chorus lines, irresistibly catchy and persistently memorable, have an uncanny ability to embed themselves within the listener's consciousness—a testament to the compositional brilliance they wield.   Amidst their meteoric ascent, Fire In The Rodeo solidified their trajectory by signing a landmark worldwide deal with the esteemed record label Lions Pride Music in 2023. • I just stumbled across this power trio.... not too bad at all. The vocalist reminds me of a cross between Lex Koritni and Chris Cornell in some tunes. Nice production and good sound.
