Strike - s/t (1984 EP)

It's been a long time since I've bought some vinyl but today I did. I stumbled across this release by Strike and they were completely unknown to me. I thought it looked good so I took it home, hey! only 3€.
I did some searching on the web and voila!
This is pretty excellent stuff!
Very nice melodic rock.

They hail from Sweden and this was released in 1984 on Tandan Records.
This is the original press so I guess I got myself a gem. It was later released through a couple of other labels.

"Excellent melodic hard rock, vinyl ep from the land of all things melodic; Sweden. If you fancy some Santers like hard rock with bags of melodic then heres a bands music that you can't do without. The vocals are shared between Wikstrom (drums) and Rundquiz and are "pleasing", but its the highly catchy songs and bludgeoning riffing of Rundquiz and Danielsson that gives the most satisfaction. Search out at all costs! Eric Losman was last heard playing with The Eminent Blues Band."

Cool, very nice find Stefan. So these guys are not the new band who just released "We're Back", also from Sweden? Two separate bands?
