Lita Ford - Hungry

If there's two things I least want to see in my sexual fantasy, it's children and animals.

It's obviously a song about sex, and Lita looks pretty hot, all wet and dancing around in tight-fitting, skimpy clothing. Then... we gotta look at the kid? Why!?

The real mood killer comes at 2:29

Was there two versions of this video?

I only remember her dancing in the water and have no memory of the kid of the alice in wonderland characters.

Not sure who thought that one up but I guess that's would be why MTV only plaed it late at night. I thought Stiletto was a good album but it just didn't have any hit songs on it after the previous album being a big hit. The next album Dangerous Curves on the other hand was awesome.

I never was much for Lita's music, but I loved watching her videos. Preferably in slo-mo.

The purpose of the video was explained on the old Midnight snack VHS tape (and was later repackaged on DVD with all her other VHS tapes into one collection), and was basically that they decided that it would be a totally radical idea to take a song that was so sexual, and give it a video that was a polar opposite as it was too obvious to go the easy route with a standard T&A video.

They also had to shorten the song title, and drop the "for your sex" bit because otherwise it would have got no airplay at all. (its ok to have it as a lyric, but not a song title for some reason).

I think the Lita in the water bits certainly fed most male fantasies anyway, so they never paid attention to the Alice in Wonderland bits.

    • So some may remember that Tyketto toured recently and aside from Forever Young, I never delved into this band. So I did, so I'd know the songs in concert and was blown away. A great band with an awesome catalog that I had missed out on. To be fair, in the 80's it was a lot harder to access and find out about a lot of the more fringe bands, that's my excuse anyway. So I now am faced with digging deeper into some other bands I've overlooked. Some of these I gave a go, and wasn't really impressed, but now I'm starting fresh with an open mind. So below is a list of bands I have eitehr never bothered with, or never really gave a proper go. Lizzy Borden is on the list and I have done a bit of their stuff and like it a lot, so I will definately dig deeper into them (I've got some older stuff and some newer stuff, but have skipped quite a few albums) But the others, fire away, tell me which bands have killer material that I'll froth and how stppid I've been to skip them. • I like the album art. I love when contemporary Glam Metal bands have album art with a genuine 80s vibe to it.
    • Nope, for a while, I used to think Rapunzel from Tangled (2010) was hot... But then I stopped being attracted to cartoon characters.
    • This is definitely the first time I've heard about it, I'll have to give it a listen!
