Virginia Beach, anyone familiar with the area?

I might be moving from NJ to the VB area? Anyone from the area? I never been there, yet.

We goto Virginia Beach every year for vacation. From what I can tell it looks like a nice place to live, housing is quite pricey though. I'm not too sure about Norfolk we usually stay there when we go to VA Beach it was quite dark(if you know what I mean) at least the part of town we stayed in.

The towns are huge in terms of square miles. Nothing like up here. We're actually considering renting right in VB. Looks cool, lots to do. KISS played the outdoor leg of their tour there in 2010.

that is where I was born. well kind of, it was in Hampton but I think we lived at Virginia Beach. I don't remember much, we moved back to he mountains when dad got out of the Air Force and I was only 1

Just got back from looking around. We liked everything we saw.

98.7 is a cool format radio station, too.
