Tragedy

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! This is freakin hilarious! "We wrote this song in the Applebee's on Times Square!" :rofl2:

What the hell, there have been tons of metal covers of ABBA songs, I suppose it was only a matter of time before the Bee Gees got the same treatment.

I like how they claim they're the "#1 Heavy Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees in the tri-state area" -- like there's really much competition for that title.

Thanks, this made me smile.

Ok, so spent my 40th birthday at the London gig yesterday (London time).

Gig was awesome, and the band was hilarious (and extremely camp).

I was, as usual, front row, and ended up covered in both glitter and beer.

Funniest moment of the night for me was probably when I walked around the entire venue with Barry Glibb on my shoulders, then ended up going arse over tit when we fell over a bench that we couldnt see in the dark.

I think it was about half way through the night that I realised that Barry doesnt actually play his guitar as it isnt even plugged in (but he sure played that cowbell).

Few pictures below.

The only names that are different from the CD are the drummer (who looked like a cross between a psychotic Mick Fleetwood and King Diamond), and they appear to have merged Andy Gibbens with Gibbous Waning as he the bassist is called Andy Gibbous Waning (and they said he was new, but I dunno if that was just a joke).

Glibb doesnt have blonde hair (he is the Jack Black lookalike on vox/guitar), I think you mean Robin Gibbens (the one who pretends to play guitar and plays cowbell).

You are correct!

It does seem that they go through a few drummers as well.. Your pics are a lot better than mine..

I have a feeling that the live album may be the same gig as the DVD I bought on Thursday.

Havent watched it yet as my hearing is still shot, but am sure the upcoming album is Live from the Bowery Ballroom as well.

Looks like Robin went for a few Axl style costume changes during your show .. heh.

Looking at your pictures, it would seem the band have the same line up as mine, although the drummer isnt visible, so he may be the only member thats changed.
