reminds me of my dad

anyone else feel that the dads from the 70's and back are totaly different than dads now? I don't know of dad ever changed a diaper or watch the kids by himself when we were little. not much on affectionate words. this songs reminds me so much of my dad growing up and even not to a large degree

I can relate to that mate,my dad was absent and very reserved at times and was caught up in his own world.He did do things for me but my mum ruled with a iron fist and pushed us apart at times.

 

By the way the songs not bad,it hit a nerve with me and that's what good song writing is all about.
