Presume this is on in the States only, but tell me more. Sounds intriguing and I'm a bit of a wildlife nut.

true stories, different stories about peoples survivals in the wild, ocean, deserts, snow....wild stuff that they should have not lived. looks like it was a discovery channel show and I guess Animal Planet has picked up the rights to show it. here are a couple things you can look at.

a few examples of the shows:

Season 3, Episode 7 – Aired: 12/22/2006

A Walk in Hell

While hiking in the Grand Canyon, a heat wave strikes and strands a boy scout group. Without water, suffering from dehydration, and exhaustion, three of the scouts venture out in search of water.

Season 3, Episode 5 – Aired: 12/8/2006

Blood in the Water

A boating trip on the Zambezi River goes horribly wrong when a hippo overturns the vessel and crocodiles close in on the survivors, now it will take all their strength and will to survive.

Frozen at 20,000 Feet

An expedition by three British climbers makes it to the summit of Mt. McKinley and things takes a disastrous turn, one falls of the side of the mountain and shatters his leg and two is left without cover- when frostbite sets in the three men is left with little hope of survival.

noone else watches this show? saw one late last night or early this morning where 2 people on a first date get lost on a mountain. after a couple days they find a camp site of another camper with the date on if of the day they were there till the guy notices the year. it was exactly a year. the camper had pretty much said "no way out" and they were reading his last words. "had my last 2 crackers today" was one entery.
