Cool stuff and the movie was real good too! According to a post on youtube here are the band members:

 

"Chad Fischer (vocals, keyboards, bass guitar, drums); Keith England (vocals); Tim Bright (guitars, keyboards); Chris Link, Patrick Houlihan (bass guitar); Mike Knoblach (cowbells).

These are the guys that played as the sound of Vesuvius."

 

 

Reminds more of Krokus, Marc Storace. :)
