Martin Orford - The Old Road

If you like your quality Progressive music, then may I suggest you check out Martin Orford's new 2nd Album 'The Old Road'. Some may know Martin as the Keyboard player with the excellent IQ and Jadis.

 

His new album features some excellent melodic Prog stuff, tracks like 'Power And Speed' and 'Ray Of Hope' are superb, and feature a host of guests including John Wetton (Asia), more excellent performances from John Mitchell (It Bites,Kino, Frost*), Gary Chandler (Jadis), Nick D'Virgilio & Dave Meros (Spock's Beard) & Mike Holmes (IQ), amongst others.

 

Very very highly recommended from me if any of the above named bands are your thing and a quite superb disc throughout.

yes, just got this in, a surprise great one, only thing is the Asia sound from time to time and only to add Wetton to the mix that is a bit Asia overload, but, this is good
