Another snake oil job.......

Talked to a friend on the phone this afternoon and he was telling me that he has an ongoing PAYPAL dispute. Told me he used buy it now to purchase a Kidd Wikked CD on E Bay last month. When the purchase arrived, it was a cheap CDR with flimsy cheap homemade inserts and a paper label on the CDR.

 

Well.....from looking at the photos in the item description, I would immediately have questioned that one....it has "homemade" written all over it!!!! Poor cutting on the inserts and flimsy appearing......terrible quality label......

 

He said seller has told PAYPAL that the CD sent was an original!!!!

 

As I told my friend.....here is just another example of why you should be buying and transacting with people you know and trust.

Well when a CD comes up like that with a price of only $150 and the seller has a 95% feedback with only 20 ratings I wouldn't have touched that one with a ten foot pole.

Take a look at the item description.

 

Here is a little part of it that caught my attention:

 

ULTRA RARE HARD ROCK INDIE!! NOT A CD OR BOOTLEG!! GREAT SONGS AND EXCELLENT CONDITION!!

 

Notice the words NOT A CD OR BOOTLEG. So the seller admits it's not a cd....right?

 

Too bad Don took one on the chin. He's a stand up bidder and he must have one smokin' cd collection.
