Seems there's another Young Medicine. That was a rather unpleasant few minutes.

The bit that worries me is that we're going to go from the 'normal' process to millions in a very short time. Usually there is time to spot if something was missed in trials but this time it's big bang. On an entirely selfish level I see no scenario where I'll be vaccinated before the mid to late summer. I'm not uncomfortable with that. That said, as soon as my partners parents and my close friend fighting cancer are vaccinated I can relax. Don't want to be the one to infect somebody else and kill them. Will be interesting to see the point at which things do get a lot better. Once you have the most vulnerable and medical staff vaccinated you'd think we can start opening things up as the death rates should plummet. Things won't be 'normal' but I'd really like to think by March/April time we can have most things open, even if with restrictions.

Not Snowflakes who are triggered? I do think that the dumbest thing Hillary said was the deplorables insult and it may well have lost her the election.

It's kind of a derivation on should a tolerant society tolerate the intolerant though.

I should be for the vaccine. I really want to be able to trust it and generally I'm very pro vaccines. Problem is the money involved is huge and there's national prestige in the mix as well. When you see day on day news coming in with each vaccine claiming 1 or 2 percent better efficacy and then look at the sample sizes it doesn't leave me feeling super comfortable we're doing full due diligence. I really hope my fears are unfounded and I suspect by the time I'd be likely to get it there will be a lot more data in to allay my fears. So right now I sit firmly on the fence. I wouldn't touch the Russian one with a barge pole though.
