  1. Just known as The George. You can't miss it seeing as it stretches across the end of the cul de sac with The Borderline on the left hand side. Many a happy weekend spent drinking there
  2. Jack Black is a legend in his own mind! I just don't get his so called appeal.
  3. The pub next to The Borderland used to be an excellent rock pub, it's where I met my better half. It's ok for a quick drink and cheaper than the hotel bar. I'm meeting up with some other people as well, need to see if they've chosen a pub.
  4. Most certainly. If it's not too late, it would be good to meet for a pint, but I can't go to the gig. Assuming you can tolerate a fat ginger Palace fan before your AOR fix. Do I take it you'll be up London already?
  5. ***update*** Swazi will be there, possibly Jez, it's turning into a mini HH meet-up
  6. Needless to say, I'll be buying the album.
  7. My son has ZZ Top & Kiss videos on his PSP
  8. Toy Story 3. Remember, it's not just an improvement in picture but a big improvement in sound.
  9. Love all the Lee Child books. Currently reading Think Of A Number - John Verdon
  10. Let me see.......... Pink Floyd - Pulse tour at Earl's Court The Eagles at Wembley Stadium The Rolling Stones at Wembley Stadium Metal Church with The Four Horsemen (Metallica) as support at The Marquee Club(Charing X Rd) Great White - Fins Over London at The Marquee Club (Wardour St) Vengenace at The Marquee Club(Charing X Rd) Dan Reed Network at The Marquee Club(Charing X Rd) Sea Hags at The Marquee Club(Charing X Rd) to name a few.
  11. Come on James, it's only 12 1/2 quid with the booking fee etc for three bands! I'll even throw in the offer of a lift up there.
  12. To be honest I don't know. Shame they're not SACD or DVD-Audio.
